#note Quackle says 9E JUDIES (U) for 25 points is best, in spite of the better bingo possibility next turn with xJUU.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AVW 7G VAW +29 57
>ken_Rubin: DEIIIOS 9I OI +12 38
#note Quackle prefers 5H OIDIA (EIS) for 12 points. Although it scores the same as 9I OI (DEIIS), I think the leave is more bingo-friendly because there is only one "I"

#note I held Stefan on ELAPIN* but wasn't sure enough to challenge
>ken_Rubin: ?DEMNUY G12 YUM +23 236
#note Quackle clearly prefers M4 YUM (DENU?) for 24 points or 6J FILMY (DENU?) for 25 points. Instinctively, with a 57 point lead, I looked for a defensive play that would start the process of closing the board down. The sim likes the two plays that keep DENU?, I believe primarily because my likelihood of hitting a bingo next turn is much higher holding the U. This may be partly due to the bag being consonant-heavy, not to mention that the Q remains unseen, with a juicy QU possibility at 12A for anyone who holds those two tiles, with possibilities like QUALE, QUATE, QUARE. All that said, I'm not sure I wouldn't have made the exact same play, if I could do it over. Closing the board down at this stage of the game makes sense, and I'm still holding DEN? which means I have a good chance to bingo somewhere, at some point, later in the game.
>Stefan_Fatsis: EJ M3 JE. +24 180
>ken_Rubin: ?DEEEIN -EE +0 236
#note This was a bad play. I obviously didn't want to play JEE for 10 points at M3, so I panicked and exchanged EE (DEIN?), considering that Stefan might open the board next turn and give me a bingo line. However, I should have played C5 NEED (EI?) for 16 points. This scores points and has a decent leave, given the consonant heavy tile pool.

>ken_Rubin: MNRRSTT 9M R.T +4 346
#note Playing defense. 9M RET (MNRST) for 4 points doesn't score much, but it prevents a potential 80+ point bingo on the triple O line. As the board stands, Stefan can still bingo on the 2 or 5 lines (on top of or below BO), but both will leave me with potential high-scoring responses on a triple line to blunt the impact
