#note I'm still finding myself tempted by the flashy 6s, especially here with CYBORG when I've just finished watching Star Wars Rebels on Disney+. I do see that J4 RUBBY (GOY?) is likely best because of the front hook possibility with the G and the otherwise defensive nature of the play (placing the U on the double-double line, limiting the vertical overlap through the R to the letter E).

#note 5D PHOT was a bad play because it opens up too much for my opponent and leaves me with no vowels. Keeping DNR? wouldn't be as terrible on a board with an open vowel to play through for a bingo. On this board, there isn't anywhere to go. Quackle likes E2 THRO (DN?) for 22 points which makes sense because it gives less back and has a better leave.

#note Missed 10G BARNyARD for 66 points. Not the easiest bingo to find, and not the most terrible miss.

>ken_Rubin: ADEELMO 12L LOAM +26 290
#note The equity play is 12G ROAMED (EL) for 31 points, but I really want to block the S hook on MELT (there is a 70.45% chance that Jeff draws an S after bingoing last turn with FAULTEd). This board is closed, and the triple line is by far the biggest scoring opportunity in a tight game that looks like it will come down to the wire. 12L LOAM still scores pretty well and leaves the D which I see as a valuable scoring tile for a subsequent turn: Ifor example, I can play B15 HEAVED or L1 ELD.
>Jeff_Cook: JSTU 13J JUST +31 288
>ken_Rubin: DEEEELT 15A ED +22 312
#note Quackle says that O12 MEET (DEEL) for 18 points is another good option. I chose HEAVED/ED because it scores well and slightly lowers my chances of drawing the Q compared to playing three tiles with MEET. I know that Jeff can potentially score 27 points with the M on the triple with MEOW, MAWS, MEWS, MOWS. But he could also score with HEAVER/IRE or HEAVES/OSE. It's more important to me not to draw the Q at this point.
>Jeff_Cook: AGI O12 .AGI +21 309
>ken_Rubin: EEEILTW M2 WEEL +18 330
#note I like M2 WEEL (EIT) because it scores 18 points and a second spot to play QI in case I draw the Q when emptying the bag. Quackle says that H14 LEI or H10 OWE are better and win 94.44% of the time, which I don't understand because if I draw the Q, Jeff can block my QI play at N15. Help! Someone explain
>Jeff_Cook: EIIOQRS 15N Q. +11 320
>ken_Rubin: AEIST M7 TIE +17 347
#note Quackle wants me to play N2 ES to block Jeff from playing N2 OSIER next turn. I didn't see that possibility, and neither did Jeff. It wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game.
