#note G7 OXO for 12 points is the clear play. It is super defensive in that it gives barely anything back. The EGIMR leave is balanced enough that I can score next turn without a bingo.

#note This wasn't a good play. 7D GROOMED (CIRST) is better because it scores 23 points while leaving the S hook on BITE for a bingo on an upcoming turn. Another good option is C8 NORDIC (ERST) for 18 points. It scores points, leaves bingo tiles, and opens up the board. It also potentially injects some uncertainty (which is to my advantage) if Deen isn't 100% sure whether NORDIC takes an S hook.

>ken_Rubin: AEILUVY N10 .LAIVE +20 231
#note This was a big miss. The best options are 14J VISUAL (EY) for 34 points and N8 VAGUELY (I) for 28 points. I didn't see either.

#note I was choosing between B2 HERTZ for 34 points and C13 QUEY for 38 points, but Quackle likes L2 RHEA (TQUY) for 29 points by a long shot. I think this is because of the TROUT front hook possibility with me holding the only T left. I'll have a decent chance to hit a high-scoring Q play at that location on the next turn with possible words like QUIET, QUINT, QUANT. I'll also have the opportunity to make a Q play elsewhere and play for a bingo with TROUT, as that area of the board is not easy for Deen to block. But the two biggest reasons, I believe, why RHEA sims best are that 1) It scores points; 2) It leaves a high scoring Q play potential on a subsequent turn

#note I kind of get bailed out by QADI here. I honestly wasn't even looking for it when I played HERTZ last turn. I was mostly just thinking that HERTZ scored points, and leaving QU would allow me to score on the next turn.

#note It would have been nice to find F8 EXUDE for 21 points, but K8 DOE was enough to win
>deen_hergott: EK 15M E.K +21 383
#note EEK! This was Deen's best play which closed the gap to 390 to 388. After a meticulous recount, we changed the score to 390 to 389. Still enough to pull this out. Breathed a major sigh of relief to EKE this one out.
