>Eric_Harshbarger: ?ADESSU 8F ASSUrED +68 68
>Arie_Sinke: AEGOTWX 7H OX +36 36
#note OX is clearly best.
>Eric_Harshbarger: EIIPRTT G4 ENUF. +29 97
>Eric_Harshbarger: EIIPRTT -- -29 68
>Arie_Sinke: AEGNOTW J6 WO.T +24 60
#note WOrT looks best.
>Eric_Harshbarger: AEEFN L8 .EAFEN +20 88
>Arie_Sinke: ADEGINO M10 GANOID +30 90
#note I probablty slightly overevaulated the value of scoring a few more points and leaving the lone E while opening up the 3x3 here. I knew Eric had a U from ENUFS, so I reasoned that he was less likely than usual to hurt me through the D, but even with that U specified on his rack this isn't the sim winner. Quackle prefers the fishier plays of ODE and ODEA at K11 for 23 and 25, which are obviously more defensive.
>Eric_Harshbarger: AELRSTU N5 SALUTER +73 161
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEGPQU F3 EQUiP.GE +71 161
#note I didn't realize that Eric had just set me up to play EQUiP O11 for 82, an 11 point improvement over the bingo.
>Eric_Harshbarger: NOY O6 YON +31 192
>Arie_Sinke: DEEHIUZ 10I UH +31 192
#note This wins the sim by a small but statistically significant margin over a few higher scoring plays. Notably, HEEZED 3B for 42 sims well back. This looks a bit better than DUH in the same spot - I need the D for vowel consonant balance.
>Eric_Harshbarger: EKOORT O10 RETOOK +45 237
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEIRZ 15H RAZEE. +51 243
#note Clearly best.
>Eric_Harshbarger: ADVY E10 DAVY +25 262
>Arie_Sinke: DEIIILT 12D I.IED +22 265
#note This play and LIVID 12C for 18 are very close - couldn't decide beteen them. LIVID keeps an E with only 2 unseen, and EIT isn't a bad leave with the pool slightly consonant heavy in general, but I thought it would be more standard to take the extra 4 points here. It's very close.
>Eric_Harshbarger: AENORST 3F .ARSTONE +70 332
>Arie_Sinke: EGHILRT H1 GI.TH +30 295
#note My odds aren't great here. This opens up a new line and scores enough to keep within bingoing distance.
>Eric_Harshbarger: CCILN 6B CLIN.C +15 347
>Arie_Sinke: BEIIJLR 2K JIBER +43 338
#note Eric's play of CLINiC injects an element of volatility into the game, as it takes a front A hook. I wasn't sure whether to surmise that Eric knew the hook or not (he knew it but wasn't 100% sure of it.) It makes sense for me to turn over as many tiles as possible here to go for the two remaining As.
>Eric_Harshbarger: ABW O1 B.AW +39 386
>Arie_Sinke: ILLMOPV 14F VIOL +19 357
#note It looks like there's no legitimate path to victory here, and the best equity plays are those that block ACLINiC/MARTINI. I'm hoping I somehow draw an A for ACLINiC/LAMP and Eric misplays the endgame - unlikely, as there are multiple paths to victory for him.
>Eric_Harshbarger: FIIMNRT 13B MIT. +20 406
>Arie_Sinke: LMNP B13 .M +12 369
#note I am now forced to block Eric's higher scoring placement of FAIR (with AMITY.)
>Eric_Harshbarger: AFIR C2 FRAI. +16 422
>Eric_Harshbarger: (LNP) +10 432
