#note GLAMS looks a bit better, don''t swing the O hook, the L helps me as much as it does him

#note I missed a good option of OORIE 12C, which sets up -XY plays, and generally keeps the X on a really good board for the X. Although it doesn't close things as much as OX or OXO 11J, it outruns so much better. OXO is a good play as well, maybe better for defensive reasons. I didn't like letting him play at 12a to fork and score.

#note liked this to keep consistent scoring tiles and reach for the Ss. sims best alongside the boring YOB/OGAMS. I don't love opening the R row with that, but it's not as reckless as it seems cause eventually an H1 play will happen to fork open the top, and leaving just the shitty 2 row is okay cause I get good comebacks.

#note I did not see COFFRET but I think it's good to take out the 3x3 here, hopefully can use the F to score while taking out KAIFS. Close call overall but this is very reasonable

#note I was close to playing VA(T) or VARIA, the latter of which looks best here. I was trying to make a middling, flexible play, since bingoing is very important here on this board but it's also important to make sure bingoes win consistantly. VARIA wins a sim by around 4 points with VARA second - it's good to keep the I for the 14 row, but at the same time there are 4 more in the bag. VARIA is standard and NT works well with the pool, so while it gives up a bit of bingo % it is worth the points

>Jackson: LNOORTT 2M ORT +10 343
#note this should be E2 LOTTO or LOTO. ORT is really bad in a sim, even thoug hit bingoes 30% along with LOTTO and LOTO. The idea here was to go all in on a bingo cause I don't have the scoring potential now to keep tempo, so go all out. It also prevents him from blocking using an I cause of IR, which is nice in case I can cripple his rack. That said, LOTTO or LOTO do a simila rjob without being as reckless, threatening enough scoring plays up top that he can't block for free at the bottom, and NRT and NR are as good for hitting bingoes, especially reaching for the blank. I think LOTTO and LOTO ar ebetter versions of this plan

>Jackson: BELNOST 14J BELON. +30 373
#note playing NOBLEST now loses to an out-bingo, which he has 36% in a sim, but really higher with ranges, so at least 40%. I liked BELONG because ST works so well with the pool, I can bingo out if he bingoes and win. The three problems with BELONG are that I only bingo 65% of the time myself, so already thats close to being worse than NOBLEST, and then even when i draw a bingo, he could fish one tile and put me in the same position as I'm in now. Still if he plays one I could win by bingoing and hoping he doesn't bingo, but with the 1 row and the 15 row, I would have to take the 15 row and hope he can't use his blank to hook OP. Not bad odds, but probably chips away enough to make NOBLEST best, even if he bingoes closer to 50% after it. BELONG wins a sim, but that doesn't account for the 1 tile plays Josh likely makes. The last problem with BELONG is that it still loses to some 15 row bingoes even when I bingo out - I am only getting one tile from his rack so if he hits a heavier bingo I may lose by a few points. Overall this play is not quite solid enough to justify over the bingo.
