#note I spent a long time on this play because I wasn't sure on HANDLINE. It looked a bit strange and I wondered if I was confusing it with HARDLINE. If HANDLINE were the only bingo, I would have tried it, but with INHALED and HEADLINE available, it would really suck to lose a turn because I got greedy. But after some consideration, I felt confident enough to proceed. The F2 placement is better. (-1.5)
>Joe_E: DILPP - +0 40
#note It looked wrong to Joe too. When he challenged, I figured it would come off the board. It actually takes an R! I'm still pretty rusty after several years off, and my word knowledge is hit-or-miss.

#note How on earth did I miss VOILA? Ugh. (-8)

#note Definitely better than QUA G3.

#note This is way off. The correct plays are something like 3G RIVIERA or 3H IVORIER. I should have seen that it was foolish to try to close this board down, and to just play for points. One big factor in this mistake-- as with missing VOILA no doubt-- is that Joe played extremely fast this game. By the end, he still had around 18 minutes left on his clock, whereas I had gone overtime by a minute. One major weakness in my game is that I don't see plays as quickly as others, and am more likely to screw up when rushed. Part of this is due to rust, but realistically, that's always been a weakness. (-17)
>Joe_E: DEEGIST K9 EDGIEST +76 176
>Carl: AEEIRWX 10A EX +50 274
#note I saw WAXER/WEDGIEST but figured it was better to play this now and use the W next turn. It worked out, but Quackle says WAXER is clearly better. It scores more and turns over more tiles for the blanks. (-6)

#note I was already in time trouble prior to this rack and spent most of what remained trying to find a non-existent bingo through that R. I saw FURNACES N5 and even FRANCIUM M6, but SCURF is clearly better than either.
>Joe_E: ACMO 1A COMA +36 326
>Carl: ?ADNNNU 4A iNUNDAN. +66 442
#note I was in serious time trouble by this point and missed that INUNDANT also plays at 3H for two more points and a better position. Frankly, I was glad to have found anything at all. In fact, given all the emotional turmoil in my life and a poor night of sleep, I played waaay better at SWILLLNS than I could have expected. I'm still making too many mistakes, but notably, my only missed bingo was AEROSC(OP)E, which I might have missed even at my peak.

#note Stupidly low on time here. The right play is one space over to the left. Better yet, HUB/HEDGIEST. (-16)
