>Arie_Sinke: AHHNPRS 8D HARSH +30 30
#note This sims very close to HARP (maybe a very slight edge for HARSH over HARP) - it comes down to stylistic preferences, I guess. I prefer to take my points well rather than gambling that things will go well for me with HNS while turning down 12 points.
>Jason_Li: ?EGLORT E5 GLO.TERs +82 82
#note H1 REGOLiT(H)
>Arie_Sinke: GILMNOP 5E .LOMPING +78 108
>Arie_Sinke: GILMNOP -- -78 30
#note I need to stop phoneying against good players who are likely to challenge my phoneys off. GLOMP is a verb in Urban Dictionary but not in any official scrabble word source.
>Jason_Li: AEJKMOO 12A JOOK. +46 128
#note Even if this gives back JIMP, it maximizes my future turn and leaves him with only an okay leave. I spent a bit of time here and I did not spot the only other play that's just as good according to sims: F8 (R)OM.
>Arie_Sinke: GILMNOP A12 .IMP +45 75
#note Best.
>Jason_Li: ADDDEEM B11 M.DE +25 153
#note DEM(O)DE, although this does limit his scoring options greatly given this leave.
>Arie_Sinke: CEGLNOR 10C CL.G +11 86
#note Tough position - amazingly, there is no way to score more than 15 points on this board with this rack. CLEG is okay but doesn't look best. CLOT 9B gets an extra point while keeping a possibly slightly better leave, and Quackle also likes fishing with something like LEG instead of CLEG. Apparently ENOR isn't that great a leave here and CLEG bingos about 10-15% less often than the other comparable options.
>Jason_Li: AADDEET 6B DEA.ATED +66 219
>Arie_Sinke: AEFINOR 5H FINO +22 108
#note I think with a deficit I have to do FAERIE/FERIAE for 30 at H1 here. I open up a lot of floaters while scoring a few extra points and making the board harder to shut down in the medium/long term. FINO creates an S hook but doesn't do that much else for me. Quackle likes OAF 7A which is probably okay for equity but doesn't do much to help me stay in the game.
>Jason_Li: EEOSVXY 7A VEX +41 260
>Arie_Sinke: AAEGNNR H1 AGRA.. +33 141
#note Quackle likes fishier options (A7 VAN or VANG, etc.) but I think this has to be the right idea. I need to open up a few floaters while not giving up on the scoring.
>Jason_Li: EFORSTY 3B FOREST.Y +88 348
>Arie_Sinke: ABENNNQ 4A BANE +29 170
#note Giving up and playing for equity. I'll deal with the Q later.
>Jason_Li: BDLNOOR 4K BROO +16 364
#note Certainly not opening a 3x3. I have the last non S or blank hook so I thought this was nice. Too aggressive possibly?
>Arie_Sinke: AIIINNQ A7 .AIN +21 191
#note Same idea as last turn. There are 4 U's out so I have a good chance of bailing out the Q if I'm patient.
>Jason_Li: DEINNPT 1D PINN.TED +64 428
>Arie_Sinke: IIINQRS -IIQ +0 191
#note I should probably block the BROO hooks with QIS or IRIS here.
>Jason_Li: EELSTTU O1 LUES +23 451
#note Missed the lovely SUTTEE
>Arie_Sinke: ACIINRS M3 I.NIC +20 211

>Jason_Li: AEEIITT H8 .IE +6 457

#note Probably WAE instead. Don't know what I was thinking here.
>Jason_Li: ?EIQUUZ 6L Q. +11 468
>Arie_Sinke: ?EILOSU 11H SOILUrE +69 310
#note PLUvIOSE 15A is available for 85.
>Jason_Li: AEITTYZ J10 Z.TI +33 501
#note Blocking LUV but I should've just played ZIT instead. I was down to about 2 minutes at this point.
>Arie_Sinke: UUVW N10 W. +13 323

#note Should just go out with O8 TYE now, it's 3 better.
>Arie_Sinke: UV F1 .U. +5 334
