#player2 Jared_Cappel Jared Cappel
>Morris_Greenberg: AACDINR 8G DA +6 6
#note A bunch of really close plays, Quackle likes CNIDA best.
>Jared_Cappel: BCDEIIO F6 BIOCIDE +74 74
#note These games were played in mid June. First of 3.
>Morris_Greenberg: ACINORU E2 CURIA +18 24
#note UNCIA in the same spot looks better, or UR(E)IC 12D for defensive plays. I wanted to keep things a bit more open, Quackle prefers CO(E)NURI or CURIA(E) for those kinds of plays.
>Jared_Cappel: EEFNOXY E11 ONYX +36 110
#note I mised FOXY G10 somehow which is clearly a bit better.
>Morris_Greenberg: ELMNOST 7H LOMENTS +63 87
#note I forgot if MELTONS was good, and didn't even notice it played at D3. I considered not bingoing here and playing NOME too, but decided that LST wasn't good enough to merit the 25 point sacrifice.
>Jared_Cappel: AEEFOQT 3B TOQ.E +28 138
>Morris_Greenberg: ADEILOS M2 ISOLA.ED +72 159
>Jared_Cappel: AEFHIMV 4C FI.M +49 187
>Morris_Greenberg: GGNPRRU 2I PURG.NG +26 185
#note I considered PURG(E)R here too to block the double-double spot, but thought this was too much better equity-wise.
>Jared_Cappel: AEHJPSV L4 JEA. +44 231
>Morris_Greenberg: AAHLNRT G1 LAT +20 205
#note I found this turn tough, the board isn't great for me. I decide to be a bit patient and take the points here while keeping my best scoring tile. Quackle agrees.
>Jared_Cappel: AHPRSUV 6H ASH +34 265
#note I wanted to keep the scoring pressure on him, but Quackle wants me to play equity with GUV at O2. HARPS is a strong leave but it doesn't seem that strong on this board. Still, Quackle says it bingos 30% next turn which is more than I thought. There are a bunch of plays simming better than mine. I liked the psychological mindset/pressure of staying up a bingo but the leave is too ugly here.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEHINOR D11 HAO +30 235
#note I was choosing between HAO and HOA(X)ER, and just thought HOAXER was a bit too wreckless immediately. Quackle likes this or (L)ION.
>Jared_Cappel: BNPRTUV C13 BUT +26 291
>Morris_Greenberg: DEFILNR 15A DI. +12 247
#note I missed F(JO)RD here, that might be worth it here. I figured if Jared completely blocks this lane I created he'd score fewer points than I did to create it anyways, or I get a nice lane to work with.
>Jared_Cappel: EINPRTV 9B PRIN.E +16 307
#note MG: Nice block by Jared. JC: Thanks. Interestingly, Quackle likes L9 INVERT best, which seems crazy to me and very un-human. I wanted to close off the dangerous new lane he'd created. Quackle is not factoring in that he just played off two and might be close to bingos.
>Morris_Greenberg: EFILNNR 10F .NFER +14 261
>Jared_Cappel: ?EOTVWZ 9I TOWE. +15 322
#note This time Quackle wants me to play WOT in the same spot or just (DIT)Z. I wanted to block as many lanes as possible. If he bingos across 11, I have the Z and ? to hit him back. He told me I blocked EVENLY at N9 with this play so it seems to have worked.
>Morris_Greenberg: EELNTVY A12 VEN. +12 273
#note Quackle much prefers LEVY 11I here. I think the error associated with that will be off though since Jared will never open anything new after LEVY.
>Jared_Cappel: ?EEKRVZ C7 ZE.K +27 349
#note I considered FREEZe burning the blank but thought if he bingos right away and I draw poorly into the KV leave it might get ugly. Quackle disagrees and says I win about 10% more. Eek. 27 more points puts puts me up 103, which is a ton this late in the game and explains Quackle's decision.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?EILRTY F14 IT +15 288
#note I realize immediately after hitting my clock TEaRILY fit there. Really bad play in hindsight. Interestingly though, this wins about as often, and FLIRTY or FERITY win even more per Quackle champ player, but that looks wrong to me in actual scenarios since it will empty the bag and Jared can appropriately plan.
>Jared_Cappel: ?EIORVW 8A WO. +22 371
#note This is one of four plays simming at 100% to win, but it says WI(Z) has much better valuation.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AELRUY - +0 288
#note I was hoping this caused Jared to mess up in some way. I didn't see TUtELARY either, only saw AdULTERY from AELRTUY? (there's also mATURELY).
>Jared_Cappel: ?EGIRSV 11I SERVInG +76 447
#note I did the math and looked at the pool and figured I was safe. In a tourney game, I'd probably chicken out and play something wimpier. This was the only bingo and one of many plays that win 100%.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AELRUY O8 RAn.Y +36 324
#note (T)UtELARY for 83, or AR(G)YLEs for 42.
>Jared_Cappel: A 7C .A +11 458
>Jared_Cappel: (ELU) +6 464
