#player2 Carl_Johnson Carl Johnson
>Jackson: ABDENNO H7 NOB +10 10
#note this game can be seen as one of the most fortunate outcomes from a minor adjustment - standard would be BONNE here, maybe BEANO, with NOB slightly worse optimatlly. I preferred NOB here against Carl, knowing he has great word knowledge and is perhaps less comfortable on a tighter board
>Carl_Johnson: AADDEIU I7 ADIEU +19 19
#note carl provided some racks - ADIEU looks great, definitely better than AUDAD
>Jackson: ADEHNOR J8 DOH +38 48
#note OH might be better on some boards, the D really improves AENR, but on this board there is no good place for -ED words, and I don't see Carl handing me lanes all the time. This is also quickly becoming a reall S-dependent board, so playing the extra tile towards that is nice
>Carl_Johnson: AADEMNS -AADEM +0 19
#note not the actual rack but he said he kept ED here
>Jackson: AEFNNRU -FANNU +0 48
#note similar logic to Carl, I felt ER was better than AENR here to reach for Ss - AENR's main advantage is responding to bingoes or opening plays better, but since he exchanged 5 instead of exchanged 2 or so, that was less of a concern. NUN/NU is also a reasonable play, or even just NU to be aggressive.
>Carl_Johnson: AKNNNOS -AKNN +0 19
#note he kept AER here, he said in part to keep ANA plays if need be (if we kept exchanging to avoid a 6 pass)
>Jackson: BEERSXZ 12G REX +25 73
#note regretted not playing just EX after hitting my clock - REX could be seen as a bit bingo defensive, but I think at this point he very likely has an E in his leave, and the R helps BESZ so much - bingo 5 jumps from 6 to 19%.
>Carl_Johnson: AERVV 13C VARVE +27 46
#note REX also allows stuff like this, plus the P hook

>Jackson: CEEOTUY 4A COTY.E +32 211
#note lucky to have the perfect blocking play for the NW
>Carl_Johnson: AGILM B1 GLI.MA +22 112
>Jackson: EEIRSTU 1B .USTIER +27 238
#note strongly considered BEAU here to say fuck it and go for spread - I only bingo around 2/3 though, so even though there is recursion for the nice leave, I felt the safe play was fine here, blocking 3x3s with two blanks out as well.
>Carl_Johnson: ANQ 6A Q.NA. +14 126
>Jackson: EFIIRST A8 .IF +6 244
#note Considered FRITES/ODDS here to exhaust the top right a bit and reach for blanks - however, i am still at a real rick of losing to two bingoes, and he could bingo on row 4 with a blank, leaving the 3x3 and the A column, two large threats. I liked taking out the larger A column threat here, letting him take column K, and still being in a good position to either counter-bingo or maintain a bingo lead with a good rack.
