#note 9C OI could be interesting. Doesn't give nearly as much back, sets up the M for potential stuff next turn or the turn after. I doubted Winter would play on 12L, but he might. If he does, this play becomes a lot weaker, as I'll have very little in response to that. Figured a human player would play more scared in response to this. I could also exchange or do AIM. #questionable

#note sort of balked here. Never saw 13K INN which looks pretty good to block the likeliest lane and score, while maintaining the R for RYA. I don't necessarily want to block one spot here, but I might be able to get away with it. #findingsmall

#note Winter said he kept ISO. This play looked weird, since it set up the R hook. I didn't notice the W hook. Apparently, he had UMIA(Q)
>Josh: ADEEFHS F2 FE +30 225
#note huge miss of SHEAFED, which I saw but chickened out of. Wasn't quite confident enough that there was a word in this. This is a huge 25-point mistake just as the momentum was turning in my favor. Maybe if I had but more thought into it and thought about SHEAFING. AEFGHINS looks potentially good. #knowledgeSADDEST

#note the w comes out, and blocks the R stuff that could still have fit
>Josh: BDEEIRR 13C BRIER +23 292
#note not wanting to open ABIDER, and wanting to block the most of what was left with two blanks still out. Not sure how the position became so favorable so quickly. I was in dire straits for the first few moves.
>Winter: TX J4 T.X +26 228
>Josh: ?DEEOTV C2 DEVOTEs +86 378
>Josh: ?DEEOTV -- -86 292
#note saw 14G DEVOTEs, figured it was better for spread if I played VE(N)DE(E), then realized that Winter might be fishing for SQUAIL# words. I didn't really think about it being CSW, had I stopped to think, I would have realized it was, and SQUILL was the one good in NWL, but I don't think it would have changed me playing it, because it made sense that he seemed not to care about the board state and was thinking about something I wasn't thinking about. The problem with all of this logic is that he's obviously going to challenge if he has any doubts about SQUAIL#, so this is way too greedy. Still, it seems difficult to lose, practically speaking, either way.

#note this was funny. Couldn't see anything I could draw using the sneaky H4 S spot. (Or him, for that matter, but also wondered if he had spotted THESP himself)
>Winter: N 4F N. +8 311
>Josh: ??ACEKS 12B KAE +22 394
#note this is -9 to Co(NU)S going out in 3, there are no out-in-two sequences or threats after that.
>Winter: CELLOR 14B COR +18 329
>Josh: ??CS 4C aCi..S +25 419
#note should not go out. -15 to just dropping the blank G at J10. Funny because I set myself up to do a better-than-optimal endgame with KAE. #endgameSADDEST
