#note Very consonant-heavy pool, so didn't ming the ADEE leave, plus I didn't want to trade vowels back for Craig to draw. Didn't like DOULA as I actually have the last A, which could come in handy. Hence why I also passed up 10E EAU. As I realized after I hit my clock. ROUE is better to stop K2 plays that score while unloading a lot of consonants. Sim likes DOULA, probably too many points to give up.

>Mack: ?ADEEGR 10A GRAnDEE +73 276
#note Didn't want to create a line for 7s on row 1 with hEADGEAR or lAAGERED that could be annoying to block.

#note This is where things start to go wrong, and why I need to stop playing closed boards when I'm already under time pressure. I was low on time here thought my lead was very safe if Craig didn't bingo, so wanted to take out the E in ADDIBLE as it works well with the pool. but with CHKZ unseen there are big scoring threats I need to worry about too. I should just play JAG and keep a better leave, I got too worried about JAGG plays I think.
>Craig: MO 3M OM +16 291
>Mack: EEGGMST O3 SEG +10 336
#note OM was a very smart play by Craig, as it caused me to panic and make this absolutely godawful play under time pressure. Once again, I'm too fixated on stopping bingos and lose sight of the fact that the game is more than close enough for Craig to win without bingoing. It's not easy at all for him to bingo with the unseen pool, and big Z plays at 8K are the far bigger threat. I need to play GOEST here to take those out, I lose way more often to a bad draw and a big Z play than I do after an improbable bingo after GOEST. I played SEG with about 30 seconds left on my clock.
>Craig: CENZ 8K C.ZEN +48 339
>Mack: EGIKMTV 15D MIKV.. +18 354
#note This ties and everything else loses. I miraculously find this with 30 seconds left and slap it down without doing the math all the way through, knowing it has to be my best play.
>Craig: HLOPSTY 13H ..OPSY +34 373
#note Craig didn't think SYPH was good here, which is his only tie. Note that I have TEG as well as K1 TIGER available so he can't block my outs.
Extremely lucky break for me after my terrible mishandling of the last two turns. I really need to manage my time better on closed boards.
