>Adam_Logan: ?RSTUUY 8H USURY +24 24
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?EIISTY K6 pY.ITISE +70 70
#note Adam spent 3 mins on his opening rack which I think only happens if he has a blank. Not that it changes my play. It took me a couple minutes to find my bingo
>Adam_Logan: ?EGHILT 12E LIGHTE.t +80 104
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ADEQRVW F10 QA.D +34 104
>Adam_Logan: KNO H12 .ONK +33 137
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EHNORVW 11B HOVE. +26 130
#note Both Adam and I used up a ton of time early in this game (typical for me but not him). Unfortunately this is about to be one of those games with almost no super obvious plays, so taking my time on these early turns will hurt me later. I considered J11 HEWN and HOVEA. In the end I was too scared of SLIGHTEST to leave it open another turn.
>Adam_Logan: EFRZ C9 FR.ZE +42 179
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EIMNORW 14A WINO +32 162
#note There's about 10 plays that sim within 1.5 pts at the top. Lots of FROZEN plays like OWN, WIN, WINO, ENOW, WON. Then there's WIZ and two different spots for M(E)OW. Suffice it to say I failed to look past the FROZEN hook. OWN sims a point ahead of WINO, giving back slightly less, apparently.
>Adam_Logan: PT A13 T.P +24 203
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ADDEEMR C7 DE...... +23 185
#note Flushed more precious time down the toilet here by wracking my brain on DAMPERED*.
>Adam_Logan: FIR 8A RI.F +33 236
>Adam_Logan: FIR -- -33 203
#note think he had REIF/NEIF/NIEF confusion
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ADEMNOR D3 MADRONE +83 268
>Adam_Logan: AF B6 FA +17 220
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: BLLNOSU A7 SLUB +23 291
#note So I think it's correct to assume he set up SADO or DADO. And it's also probably correct to burn the S to block it. But I need to find the play that does it best... BOSUN. Just wasn't coming to me.
>Adam_Logan: EILRSTT I1 SLITTER. +60 280
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ILNOUWX 1E LOWN. +24 315
#note Well this is some rough tunnel vision. Yes, it's correct to play an X setup here. But it's I12 TWO to set up XU. Someone please teach me how to ignore that S up there and find the best play.
>Adam_Logan: AEM 2F MEA. +29 309
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: IINOOUX E3 OXO +39 354
>Adam_Logan: EGOR C1 GOER +30 339
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AEGIINU L1 GUINEA +19 373
#note Once again there are a ton of close plays, but I am down to like 4 mins so I played this pretty quickly to give myself more time in the endgame. It seems to be fine.
>Adam_Logan: IJ 1A JI. +33 372
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AAEIIPT 1K A.ITA +18 391
#note I gave up on finding something brilliant here and just made a play that left me enough time for the endgame. But there are some great plays to be found and unfortunately I did not find them. According the Champ Player, PATIKI is 84% to win, APRAXIA is 79% and AGITA is 3rd at 74%.
>Adam_Logan: AABCDNR 14K DARB +26 398
#note Adam wasn't positive on BANKCARD. He also had 4 seconds left.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CEEIPV 3K C.VIE +20 411
#note F5 CIVE is better.
>Adam_Logan: ACN F5 CAN +13 411
