#note he missed woodlore
>Jackson: GIMOSTV 11E VIGS +26 156
#note cant do MOTIVE cause it gives him DOLOROSO - I also did not see WOODLORE but prob wouldnt be too worried about it even if I had seen it - I can only rly block with MIG there, but that doesn't seem worth the huge sacrifice. Expecting DOOR to come down after MOG and ORDO to come down after VIGS (a lot more Is out given his rack so slight preferential treatment there, Q agrees that its warranted).
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?DLOOOR O10 .OLDO +7 25
>Jackson: EMOSTTW 15L WOTS +54 210
>Jackson: EMOSTTW -- -54 156
#note at first I rly didnt like the S hook on SOLDO, then got concerned it could be good so decided to go for it, since my position is still good if it comes off, but if I lose a challenge on it or let him have it that could be bad. ofc the correct move is to be sure of the hook
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ??BEIOR K5 BlO.c.IER +98 123
#note nice find
>Jackson: EMOSTTW 7M WOT +22 178
#note didnt se MEOW for 36 - quack likes the 25 point OWT better than this, this is a case where the defense is so not worth it cause the pool is pretty bad, he only bingoes 4% vs 2% after each play, with not a ton of Es and S? already gone. OWT sims best, WOT was a dumb idea
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AAEFGWY 6J A.WAY +41 164
>Jackson: AEIMRST L4 ME. +20 198
#note N12 AIM is a better idea than this - ERST is solid, and although he can block, he often doesn't have a great block. AIM might be slightly less dominant than the sim thinks, but it sims around 7 above MEW, which sims second
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEEFGTZ M1 FAZE +36 200
>Jackson: AAIIRST 1K TA.IA +27 225
#note tempted to do AIT for a really nice lane setup, but this is way more solid, gotta do it
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: CEEGTTU 13I CU.ET +20 220
>Jackson: INRRSUY F10 Y.RR +15 240
#note starting with WOT, this game became very much a game of having the case S. Josh knew I had the case S from WOTS, then ofc MEW was not hiding it either, but this play is what felt like really starting down the track of playing a case S style of game
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADEEGTV 2J VEG. +21 241
>Jackson: DIILNSU 2J ....N +22 262
#note missed LEI this turn, its far and away better than this
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADEKLOT L12 L.AK +30 271
>Jackson: DIILLSU 15J IL. +7 269
#note could do LUG now, but the K is a great scoring spot for him, so this cripples his average. I think this play is necessary for my plan to squeak out an S-based win
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: CDEHORT 13C CHO.D +26 297
>Jackson: DILPSUU 7F LU. +8 277
#note this is pretty tough to block, and I knew I was saving the sick PHI setup for next turn, so this can serve as a distraction, a lane I can occasionally hit if he can't now, plus a free rack-balancing play so that I dont keep UU with PHI
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EEIOQRT 7F ...E +12 309
#note he was close to exchanging here
>Jackson: BDINPSU D12 P.I +16 293
#note this play is sweet cause his blocks still give me 30 point plays at 15a, which is all i need
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EINOQRT -INOQR +0 309
#note he decided to race to the high scoring consonants, preventing me from hitting a huge 15a play and only a medium one
>Jackson: BDNOSUU N14 BO +16 309
#note missed CUB here, which seems like a better version of this play. not worth cashing the setup yet cause it allows X plays if I play dubs/buds
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEIIRTX F5 TI. +5 314
>Jackson: DNORSUU 5F .UN +3 312
#note this is sweet cause the case Us, O, and S are awesome here - he actually cannot hit a play at H1 using a high tile, plus I save OUS to counter Q draws, make STUN plays like QUODS, etc.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEEINRX 14G EN +5 319
>Jackson: DNNORSU 15G NO +16 328
#note we were getting pretty low on time here.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEIIJRX 4G XI +22 341
>Jackson: DNQRRSU 6E Q. +11 339
#note over the board I had very little time for this endgame, so I just knew to shed the Q in order to save a 15 row play, since 15 row plays now will stick me. this endgame was pretty cool to look at after the game - we each have plays at H2 and the 6 row (jin/aji, quin/qi), and it could be a bit of a game of chicken. QI is champs play, but champ thinks it loses.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AAEIJR H3 J.. +10 351
#note He actually has a prety insane win here - reveal will be later.
>Jackson: DNRRSU 15A URNS +25 364
#note URNS over URDS to save unblockable DJIN. Lots of plays win, but URNS does not, cause I can actually get R stuck to lose. best play is ERST to save NURD. A lot of random stuff like just dropping YIRRS can win, basucally save DJIN plays instead of PHIS plays - it would be pretty baller to win with YIRRS here, since the whole game was played around this case S, and then to drop it for 15 and not even use any of the setups and still win would be amazing
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AAEIR 9G E. +9 360
#note again - only win is ER for 2 to stick me - we were each under 30 seconds here so that wasnt happening
>Jackson: DR H2 D... +12 376
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AAIR 14C A.R +10 370
#note again blocking the R wins, I should ofc play ER first not djin
>Jackson: R M10 .R +2 378
>Jackson: (AI) +4 382
#note Josh: looking at the position anew I saw the win: the quiet play of RE(IN) H2, setting up JA(R) or AJA(R). The only block is DUR(R), which just gives me AJI to go up by 24, more than enough to outscore his NRS.

If I had 10 minutes to solve this endgame I don't even know if I would figure it out. But I had like 10 seconds. Sad.
