>Jackson: ANOSTTV H7 VAT +12 12
#note generally prefer VAT to TAV here despite the U hook I make - VAT encourages plays down the G and I column, which will often make better S hooks that let me play to the DLS, whereas TAV encourages plays northward that leave me with just the lower scoring TAVS hook. the VATU hook isn't super likely for him to have, and if he has it, I can sometimes re-hook VATU, and usually VATU plays aren't so bad. lastly, VAT encourages a more closed board since it immediatley restricts the top, not the bottom, and with NOST I have a good opportunity to take an early lead on a more long-term closed board. sims best by 0.1

#note maybe if i wasnt so busy pontificating to myself about vat vs. tav i woulda challenged off this horrible phony
>Jackson: ??LNOST K5 STO.LiNg +74 86
#note I knew there was a word in ADEMNORST but couldn't come up with transomed.

>Jackson: AEGIOPT L2 PATIO +18 142
#note I dont remember seriously considering L1 PATIO for 4 more. looks better. GA(V)E is just behind PATIO in a sim, apparently IOPT bingoes a bit more. I can't imagine playing GAVE with a lead though, I would prefer something like OPIATES if I don't play PATIO. still an error

>Jackson: AENOWWZ 3C ZONAE +40 241
#note didnt consider WAW enough - tons of Is out give me ZOWIE next turn, and ZONAE gives back way more. If he leaves the spot WW is quite powerful, but its very rare it stays open. quite a decent error in the sim.

#note setting up the X, and even if he plays thru the W I get a 36 point X play
>Christopher_Sykes: KST N2 TSK +24 223
>Jackson: AADEUWX B1 AX +41 297
#note didnt see DEWAX here, thats a bit better. unideal to give a free large lane like that, but AX can still get outrun in other ways
>Christopher_Sykes: ERT 1A T..ER +27 250
>Jackson: AADENUW O4 AW +13 310
#note didnt see UNWAGED here, which is okay but sucks when there are tons of vowels in the pool, plus sheds the U for the Q. I didn't consider 5b AWA, which is decent to block SCUP - the pool is so bad that he's unlikely to hit these plays either way, but longterm over many turns he might be able to hit something, so it's not bad to block. I think this play is okay though, since AWA can let him score while setting up a lane, something like HE 6B. This plays the waiting game but can outrun a lot of bingoes
