#note Ten bingos possible here. Odd that this was all I could see, knowing it wasn't best, but I didn't want to waste too much time. If I had to choose now, I'd go with WEALTHY.
>Hannah_Rozear: AGNO L4 AGON. +18 18
>David_Weisberg: EFIIOUX 9E FIX +39 119
#note Missed FUGIO 5J 18, setting up the X. The sim prefers it by about 4 points. Off to a great start with these two lazy plays of mine.
>Hannah_Rozear: ERZ 10D REZ +68 86
#note And swiftly punished for it
>David_Weisberg: BEIMOOU 11E MEOU +40 159
>Hannah_Rozear: ERU 12C RUE +15 101
>David_Weisberg: BHHIJOW M2 JIB +28 187
#note I went for this over WHO 12G 27, but it means my play by about 5 in sim. I though I'd have more flexibility next turn and am usually eager to get rid of the J. I also thought perhaps I might get HOWDAH or WHIDAH, and I held the O to hook the J. Or I simply might play WHO the following turn from a less restricted rack.
>Hannah_Rozear: CU C11 C.U +10 111
>David_Weisberg: DHHIOTW 12G WHO +27 214
#note The sim prefers HOD N1 over this by 8 points, but after her play of CRU last turn Hannah seems likely to have S or blank. WHID 12G 29 sims a couple points better than WHO, and DHOW 27 in the same spot sims even with WHO. Because of CRU, the D had extra value to me.
>Hannah_Rozear: CEINRST 5E CRESTIN. +94 205
>David_Weisberg: IQS N1 HODAD +46 260
#note Beats HADJI 2J 48 by over 3 points, and leads the interesting ODDISH H1 36 by 7 points. I did not see ODDISH but had I, it might have been a tough call. However, with a lot of heavy-hitting tiles already gone, the H column triple may be less dangerous.
>Hannah_Rozear: IQS J10 QIS +42 247
#note I let her get away with WHOS*!
>David_Weisberg: EIINOOT H1 IONI.E +21 281
#note Missed OTIOSE, which beats this by 2.5. Simulation likes O1 OE 31 by nearly 2 more than OTIOSE, but the leave still seems to invite trouble. Perhaps there are simply too many cheap plays for her on O1.
>Hannah_Rozear: AG O1 AG +35 282
>David_Weisberg: DLOORTT O5 OTTO +15 296
#note Big mistake here. Perhaps still stuck on keeping the D for CRUD, I missed all the WHOSO hook plays. None seem worth considering though because of S hooks, except for TOLD K11 25. It beats OTTO by 14.5 and boasts 58% wins to OTTO's 47%.
>Hannah_Rozear: BIKLPRV -BIK +0 282
#note Rack not known but I used this as filler since there were too few I's left. It probably doesn't matter but I'm still new at this, so being safe.
>David_Weisberg: AAADELR 7I AA +11 307
>Hannah_Rozear: AEINORS 3B RAISON.E +70 352
>David_Weisberg: ADEELLR G7 L.. +11 318
#note This does surprisingly well in the sim, coming only 4 points behind DEL K11 25. I'm not sure I considered DEL but I might have passed it up because plays under there could score a lot and/or mess up my bingo lines. Again I was keen to retain the D for CRUD, but many of the 7s I might draw would not fit, though I had the N column and row 1 of course. I'm in some trouble now, as indicated by the win % of these and plays like LED 2D 19 and LADLE 2A 23 all falling in the 20s. It might just be a matter of hoping for a good draw and a weak opponent rack along with DEL's score.
>Hannah_Rozear: KNTU B2 T.UNK +38 390
>David_Weisberg: ADEELRV D1 VE.L +22 340
#note Still hanging onto the D, I think I played this one too fast and missed DEV K11 31, which is killer if she does not have the last A or S. I need those points too. There were two more L's unseen, so I may have had those on my mind. DEV, which also has the merit of leaving row 1 open for 8s, wins a sim by almost 3 points, both winning only about 11% of the time. Yikes! Also note the clever but counterproductive WHOSEVER 12G 34, which is 6 in equity behind DEV.
>Hannah_Rozear: EF K11 FE +31 421
#note Doh!
>David_Weisberg: ADELPRY 1G Y.P +8 348
#note N8 OR 14A PEDLARY, for 88 or 87 respectively. Not known to me, only PEDLAR(S). I'm still in this but it's looking more and more grim.
>Hannah_Rozear: BEG N8 BEG +14 435
>David_Weisberg: ADDELPR 14A PADDLER +83 431
>Hannah_Rozear: EIIMSTV O10 IVIES +12 447
#note Hannah should put this away with EMS 15A 39, or something around that triple like TEMPI. She must have out-in-two sequences in mind. Instead I get one more chance...
>David_Weisberg: ALNR 15A AL +20 451
#note ...and blow it by forgetting LARN and LARNS! I've got more larning to do. LARNS 14K 10 would win by 2.
