>Noah: DEEIRRT 8F RETRIED +70 70
#note I played Steve and Mike this round.
>Steve_Alexander: DLLOSTT 9K DOLT +12 12
#note At the end of club, Steve told me his racks for both games we played.
>Noah: DEKNOOU 10L NOOK +20 90
#note Took me a bit to spot this. I didn't see some other options, like KORUN, but this seems decent, especially given that DOLT would seem likely to have kept S with other low-scoring tiles.
>Steve_Alexander: AMOSSTU O7 MUS. +36 48
#note Steve asked me after we cleaned up the board about bingos with this rack. I didn't see one ... maybe I'd have had a chance if the tiles had still been up :) (its not MASTODONUS).

>Noah: EOPRRUX I12 .X +34 212
#note Didn't think of APEX here. EX is better statically, but APEX crushes the sim - EOPRRU is probably much poorer than usual here, and APEX scores more and scoring-defends well. I also wonder if EORRU vs. EOPRRU is closer than Quackle thinks it is in a wider variety of spots because of long term stuff - e.g. APEX does better than EX on our turn 2 in the details' average score. The Woogles leaves are "better" than Quackle's might also fit with that, given their generally greater appetite for vowels, but I haven't checked this leave specifically, and this story doesn't feel to me like that strong evidence for stuff.
>Steve_Alexander: ?AABIJT E11 JAB +48 232
>Noah: EMOPRRU D12 ROUP +29 241
#note Held and released - after the game, Steve said he had been looking at ROUP words recently. I think he was a bit confused about ROUP because ROUPE is phony.
>Steve_Alexander: ?AILTWY 15A YAW. +36 268
>Noah: AEIMORR N1 ARMOIRE +76 317
#note I think I didn't play this for a bit because I was thinking in the other game. I was thinking it could be weird (I guess it could be tilting to some) for someone to see this bingo come down much later than immediately in a spot like this.
>Steve_Alexander: ?EGILTT A8 GLITTEr. +86 354
>Noah: ?ACENRY O1 YEAN +48 365
#note Placed YEA first, then I think I placed YEAN, but then noticed YEARN was possible as well. Decided on this anyway. Sim still thinks YEARN is somewhat better - seems reasonable.
>Steve_Alexander: AAELNVZ O12 .AZE +42 396
>Noah: ?BCEFIR 14M FI. +30 395
#note I could maybe do something opener like FIE or IF on column B.
>Steve_Alexander: AFLNPSV K5 VAP.. +22 418
>Noah: ?BCCERW K11 C.B +14 409
#note I was thinking of CLEARWAY here, other -WAY words could be possible further down the line as well. Pretty low on time here, I think.
>Steve_Alexander: AFILNNS B10 FAIN +34 452
>Noah: ?CDEORW 15L DE +10 419
#note I think playing this left me over by a few more than 50 seconds, unfortunately. My idea was to go for COLORWAY - of course, I could also play DO off somewhere to go for CLEARWAY. I don't think I saw M3 OD, but that seems wrong, because it looks like I will win with COLORWAY or CLEARWAY, but OD makes the blocking QIS L1 a natural play even if he doesn't see the row 1 potential. I noticed later that I could have fished for RIDGEWAY (which I would have drawn!) instead. Actually, not just RIDGEWAY, but DRIVEWAY and UNDERWAY as well! So COMA or maybe COON look way better than fishing a D and a vowel here. Fishing just the C is a cool idea, because, in the case that I draw an I, the bingo block which looks most straightforward to me, QIS C8, actually loses to WO M1, setting up an unblockable RIDgEWAY! ... but only without the time penalty. Champ actually suggests WO M1, which draws me all -WAY stuff COMA does and CLEARWAY too. The extra tile I have to keep when making those plays could be a problem, though. I'm pretty confident COMA would've been good here; WO might have been better.

>Noah: ?CIORW C6 CROWs +19 438
>Steve_Alexander: HILNV M1 HI +17 489
>Noah: I L12 .I +6 444
#note Final score: 436-487 (I got a 20 point penalty for going overtime and Steve got a 2 point penalty for, it seems, us underscoring RESONATE).
