>Arie_Sinke: EINOOPW 8G WOO +12 12
#note Poor start to the game. I talked myself out of WOOPIE.
>Noah_Kalus: ABEER G6 BE.ARE +13 13
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEINPS 12A PEnNIES +84 96
#note This or something comparable is best.
>Noah_Kalus: ACF J6 CAF +24 37
>Arie_Sinke: BDLRUUV 9C UVUL.R +12 108
#note This looks best. It clears up the rack better than any other option.
>Noah_Kalus: IJ 6E JI. +14 51
>Arie_Sinke: BDEGNRW 11E BR.WED +34 142
#note I should be opting for the other position of BREWED (B10) which scores two more points. Any vague defensive benfits my play has are oveshadowed by those two points.
>Noah_Kalus: AI E5 A.I +20 71
>Arie_Sinke: AGHINRT A9 HAR.ING +39 181
#note This scores well, but I underestimated the merit of fishing here. By dinking off the H for18 I bingo 75% of the time. Plays like PATH, that give up some points to keep more bingo prone leaves, also outsim this, but it looks like fishing is the way to go here. It doesn't look like SHARPING is a meaningful liability here.
>Noah_Kalus: NSU 8A SUN +53 124
>Arie_Sinke: ILMNTVY D1 MILTY +31 212
#note Not great, apparently I totally overlooked VINYL in the same spot, which keeps a substantially better leave and scores one more point.
>Noah_Kalus: EEPSST H1 STEEPS +40 164
>Arie_Sinke: DGLNOTV 2A VOT.NG +28 240
#note This is fine, better than VOLING because DL beats DT.
>Noah_Kalus: ?ACEORT 3G d.CORATE +74 238
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEGLY O1 LEDGY +47 287
#note DELAY 2G is available for 49. I do prefer LEDGY for defense, as it eliminates dECORATED. But the sim does not concur and DELAY is a totally reasonable choice, and probably a smidgeon better.
>Noah_Kalus: QT L2 Q.T +24 262
>Arie_Sinke: AAEIINU A1 A.IAN +27 314
#note Totally missed AQUAE 2K here. It's a better play.
>Noah_Kalus: DDO 13D ODD +17 279
>Arie_Sinke: EEHIKOU 12I HOKE +30 344
#note HIE 14D for 28 looks like the play. It retains a scoring consonant, which means that I am more likely to be able to outrun if Noah bingos. All the hook tiles for REDE are gone (as are all the hook tiles for HOKE.)
>Noah_Kalus: AZ J2 Z.A +32 311
>Arie_Sinke: AEEILUX 2L .I +13 357
#note Interesting position. I saw that Noah could have MONITOR N5 as well as MOTIONER through the E in HOKE, and he also could have NOTIFIER in that spot. I can't score enough to outrun an out bingo, so I have to either leave one in the bag or block. Blocking all three is possible with EAUX 9J for 28, which I did not see. However, EAUX isn't a good spread play, as it will often set up something like MOFO for 52 and I will only end up winning by a small margin. My play hangs onto the win when Noah bingos and yields a better spread than EAUX when he doesn't. CULEX 6J for 30, however, also blocks all the bingos, and may be a slightly better spread play, despite getting walloped in a lot of endgames by keeping three vowels.

#note LUXE instead - a stupid mindless error.
