>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: AEEHRR 8E HEARER +18 18
>Arie_Sinke: AADILRV E8 .ALVA +22 22
#note I need a win here, and was lucky that Robin started the game by accidentally shifting her tiles one square to the right. HALVA is okay but VAIL 9C for 18 narrowly wins the sim; perhaps HALVA creates too many one turn openings and ADR is a little better than DIR.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: EJOS K5 JOES +32 50
>Arie_Sinke: ABBDINR D12 BARB +30 52
#note This is okay, but the other position of BARB (J6 for 26, keeping DINR) wins the sim very narrowly. Perhaps putting the B in the triple is a bigger problem than I thought it would be.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: EFY 7G FEY +37 87
>Arie_Sinke: AADHINW 9G HAW +46 98
#note Best by far.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: EEGI 15D .EIGE +24 111
>Arie_Sinke: ADGINTT C11 TAD +19 117
#note This looks fine, winning a sim. GINT is a good leave here.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: Q F14 Q. +31 142
>Arie_Sinke: CEGIINT G13 CI. +20 137
#note This and GIG in the same spot sim comparably. I bingo next turn slightly more often after GIG (32% compared to 30%) but I pocket two more points right now with CIG.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: MNO L4 NOM +23 165
>Arie_Sinke: EGIINTW 11E .IEWING +28 165
#note This looks best; scores well and leaves an acceptable one-tile leave. There's no way to fish well here.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: LOSU L11 SOUL +23 188
>Arie_Sinke: DEEIOPT B5 EPIDOTE +70 235
#note Only bingo.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: ?ADNOST C1 DONATeS +74 262
>Arie_Sinke: AEFNOVX A5 FAVE +55 290
#note I thought FAVE was better than X plays like AXON and AXONE at A6 for larger scores, simply to retain more scoring potential for next turn. The sim agrees.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: CKLUY A11 LUCKY +48 310
>Arie_Sinke: IINNORX M13 NIX +26 316
#note I missed my best play of DIOXIN 1C here, not sure how, as it's kind of obvious. I also talked myself out of playing INDRI through the D, which also sims better than my play. I did correctly recognize that NIX was better than OX. This is a really weak play.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: DEOT D2 DOTE +26 336
>Arie_Sinke: IMNOORT M2 MOOT +24 340
#note Not loving the way things are looking here. I reasoned that I was unlikely to win without the blank or at least the S or the Z, so I was inclined to favor turnover instead of the fishier plays like MO. Sim agrees and think this is best, but it looks like I'm doomed no matter what I play.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: ?AILRTU N1 cURTAIL +90 426
>Arie_Sinke: EIINNPR N14 PI +27 367
#note This is my second best out in two. My best line is INNER J10, blocking CUZ and threatening to go out with NIP N12.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: GRSUZ 13G .UZ +24 450
>Arie_Sinke: EINNR O6 NINER +19 386
#note Mostly a well played game by me, marred by the miss of DIOXIN.
>Arie_Sinke: (GRS) +8 394
