>Smylie: EEEGIOT 7E EGO +12 12
#note TOE/IT is cool for hyper scoring defense. I was starved for ideas here and wanted to find a place for OGEE or another better parallel, but totally missed EGO making EL and GO, which I probably would have played to keep things a bit tighter. TOE and EGO sim very well, and exchanging/my EGO are just below. This is a decent error given that my game plan should be to close
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: DGINR 8A GRIND +27 43
>Smylie: EEEILTU B5 UTE.I +7 19
#note I had a feeling the phony C hook on this world could become useful at some point, maybe she'd try it. This doesn't sim well but it starts to do more of what I want, killing lanes against her and complicating the game. ELUTE 7I, exch EEU, ETUI 7I all look standard

>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: AAPU I3 PAUA +12 79
>Smylie: EHILRST 10C SLITHER. +66 106
#note I was looking for KILO extensions all game but missed KILOLITRE this turn, not that I'd ever play that. SLITHER sims better of course, but SLITHERY is more my speed against robin, and PAUA felt like a play that could easy keep vowels + blank, which is dangerous for the SLITHER board.

>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: ?AADOOW H1 WOOD +39 203
#note she saw AGALWOOD but wasn't positive of it, plus it slotted the S hook, seems like a good decision

>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: AEHMR A1 HAREM +37 240
>Smylie: ABCEINR C1 CABIN +23 178
#note considered INSCRIBE C8 and AB B1, which are both very reasonable. CABIN sims well, I like reaching for blanks, keeping a still solid leave, and INSCRIBE just gives back a lot of points even though it opens the board nicely. With so much space open and the bottom right untouched, I was not at all worried about the board closing permanently, so went with CABIN.
>Robin_Pollock_Daniel: ABENOOS G1 AB +13 253
>Smylie: AEEORUX D10 .UXE +22 200
#note Shoulda gone with my initial gut, AXE. AXE is great cause it forks the board on the 12 row, and the only blocks for both 7s lanes are plays from EX, which open three 8s lanes (though they would score well for her, so they're not ideal). In a straight sim I bingo even slightly more after AXE than after LUXE, so that's gotta be worth it. I chose LUXE ultimately because I have the case R (two Ss but she may be inclined to not spend one willy nilly), and it's not super easy to block the opening without giving something else back, and of course AERO over EURO as a leave. With the Q out though and the nice forking of AXE, this is definitely a mistake

#note it's this or HOWS/JEFES, nothing else seems to bingo as much.
