>Maxim_Panitch: IIIIIII -IIIII +0 0
>Arie_Sinke: DIINOTW 8H INDOW +26 26
#note This is a basic obvious best play.
>Maxim_Panitch: BEEERST H4 BEER.EST +63 63
>Arie_Sinke: EIIOSST 11E OTI.ISES +82 108
#note Best bingo.
>Maxim_Panitch: GIOUV 7C VIGOU. +15 78
>Arie_Sinke: ?CFIMOT M2 COMFITs +87 195
#note Best bingo.
>Maxim_Panitch: EEK L4 EEK +33 111
>Arie_Sinke: DEGMOVW 12A VOWED +35 230
#note I can't remember if I considered the alternate placement of VOWED (12C for 34 instead of 35) here. The V isn't as big a deal positionally as it might seem, however, underlaps after my play score a lot more, though this is offset by the AVOWED hook after the other position. The plays sim very close and it just might be better to go for my play to grab that one extra point.
>Maxim_Panitch: ATU A12 .ATU +21 132
>Arie_Sinke: GHLMNOZ B10 ZO.M +39 269
#note Sims best, scores the most points and no real drawbacks.
>Maxim_Panitch: IX 12K XI +31 163
>Arie_Sinke: BGHLNPU 2J BUN.H +36 305
#note Not really sure; this is a great equity play but BUNCHY might be hard to block profitably in the future. However, the alternatives aren't too compelling (BLUING or LUBING for 16 less leaving HP), so I prefer my play.
>Maxim_Panitch: ILY C12 .ILY +30 193
>Arie_Sinke: EGGLPPT 10E PEG. +22 327
#note No option is too inspiring. PEGTOP F3 sacrifices only 9 points to clean up the rack a bit and block a few lines; I think I would opt for that if I replayed the position - I don't believe I knew PEGTOP. PEGS is a better equity play.
>Maxim_Panitch: ACIRU 1F CURIA +25 218
>Arie_Sinke: GLNOPQT D6 Q. +11 338
#note This is definitely the wrong play. I must have been feeling impatient with the Q, and noted that by playing QI I could block the majority of the remaining bingo lines. However, I can do the same thing with POLING D4, and with 7 As out, I'm very likely to get a place to play QAT for 29 next turn, bailing out the Q and getting substantially more for my two turn sequence than I would with QI.
>Maxim_Panitch: AD N6 DA +21 239
>Arie_Sinke: GLLNOPT O7 POLL +23 361
#note Not sure; GLOP in the same spot scores two more points and sims comparably, and with only one O out few sevens parallel the P. However, POLL wins the sim by a hair. Maybe GNT is better than LNT.
>Maxim_Panitch: ?AEINOT 14C .EgATION +61 300
>Arie_Sinke: AAGLNRT 15F GAN +23 384
#note This looks best; blocks and scores and ALRT is better than the ALNR leave after GAT.
>Maxim_Panitch: AAAEFNR C7 .ERA +19 319
>Arie_Sinke: AAFLRRT 1N AR +11 395
#note I got fixated on the idea of blocking BUNCHY here. I can't lose regardless; the worst thing Max can threaten here is NYAH or something like that, which won't win him the game, and my play oddly enough finishes second in a sim, behind FAQIR D4 for 39, which I didn't see.
>Maxim_Panitch: AEJNNSY 8A JE. +30 349
>Arie_Sinke: ADFLRTY 5E FLY.R +22 417
#note FAQIR now scores 48 instead of 39. I still missed it, but my play sims precisely even with it, as I can go out in two, which I can't after FAQIR.
>Maxim_Panitch: AEHNNRS M12 SHEN +24 373
>Arie_Sinke: ADT I3 DA.T +13 430
#note Best out.
