#player1 Frank_Tangredi Frank Tangredi
#player2 Jonathan_Lindh Jonathan Lindh
>Frank_Tangredi: IJNNRSU - +0 0
#note Exchange 4. Not actual rack. This was the second game of the tournament where there was a strange rules situation.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DENSTUV -DUV +0 0
#note Normally this turn is play VENDU, but since VENDU got taken out of the dictionary, trading DUV and not giving him floaters seems ok.
>Frank_Tangredi: ADENSTT 8G ATTENDS +70 70
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EINOST K5 bON.IEST +78 78
#note TERNIONS and INTONERS are the other double doubles.
>Frank_Tangredi: EIU 12J E.UI +8 78
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAEORUW J10 WA. +29 107
#note Play off another vowel with J5 AWEE.
>Frank_Tangredi: DEEILN L2 LNIED +16 94
>Frank_Tangredi: DEEILN -- -16 78
#note This isn't what happened. Something much stranger happened. Frank was going to play in row 7 and then switched his tiles to make LINED (I think) in column L. However, he left behind an E next to one of the T's so he made a play in two disconnected places which was an illegal play so I neutralized the clock and he took the play off. Quackle won't allow me to show the disconnected madness.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AEEORU M1 AUREOlE. +66 173
#note M2 REAROUSE might be a little better but based on the tiles Frank showed me on the last turn, he didn't have anything to hit me hard at L1.
>Frank_Tangredi: ELN 1L L.NE +15 93
>Jonathan_Lindh: CHIOTUV J6 HU. +29 202
#note VOUCH may be a little better but creates a hard to deal with A hook. HUE is ok.
>Frank_Tangredi: IQ 11M QI +22 115
>Jonathan_Lindh: ABCIOTV 7C VOCAB +26 228
#note Any of the two VOCAB's are best.
>Frank_Tangredi: AEGRS O11 SARGE +33 148
>Jonathan_Lindh: DIILMOT 9C TIMID +19 247
#note Non-standard but I love what TIMID does to the board with my leave.
>Frank_Tangredi: JO 10B JO +27 175
>Jonathan_Lindh: CLOORRY 11A LORRY +28 275
#note Also like this play a lot. COOLY is the other potential option.
>Frank_Tangredi: AHI L3 AHI +26 201
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACDEGOO 14M CO. +12 287
#note Decided to block some of the last lines after Frank's last play.
>Frank_Tangredi: AELP A11 .APEL +24 225
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEEGOR B13 ADO +20 307
#note Missed 12A AGREED for 40 and decided to continue blocking. AGREED scores a lot and blocks the WAE line so it's worth it.
>Frank_Tangredi: Z F6 Z. +31 256
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEGINRU 12C REE +19 326
#note I did not see (LO)UNGIER which would have saved a lot of spread.
>Frank_Tangredi: EFW 10F FEW +37 293
#note Now I have to worry about H column plays because I missed LOUNGIER.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DGINNOU 13D GNU +14 340
#note This should have been YEN/NUG which accomplishes much more positionally and prevents big H columns plays for the most part which is one of the few ways I can lose.
>Frank_Tangredi: GIINV H10 .IVING +51 344
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADINOPY 14F PO.Y +25 365
#note I got this play right at least. Frank said post mortem this was big because PONY blocked LUX which would have allowed him to shed another consonant and score more.
>Frank_Tangredi: X N10 X. +25 369
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADIMNST H3 AMIDS. +25 390
#note N5 SIT for 13 is the best endgame play which starts a complicated sequence, however, I was very low on time and AMIDST was a 100% win. MIDST seems to be better than AMIDST according to Quackle.
>Frank_Tangredi: BEFKLRT 3G F.KE +20 389
#note G1 KEF for 23 is best. This is 2nd best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: NT 4L ..NT +8 398
#note This is best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (BLRT) +12 410
