>Arie_Sinke: AEGNOPV 8D VEGAN +26 26
#note Not much to choose from between VEGAN and GANEV, but I managed to spend 3 minutes trying to convince myself that GANOV was good (it isn't.)
>Jackson_Smylie: DIQU E8 .QUID +30 30
>Arie_Sinke: EEOPWXY D11 POXY +42 68
#note I didn't really consider forgoing this, but YOWE 9G for 29 might be worth a try - it sets up EX overlaps that may not be obvious or get blocked on a wide open board. Jackson is pretty good at spotting setups so he may not be the best player to try this sort of thinh against. YOWED 12A is also good, as EPX is likely to be a strong leave on this board in any circumstances.
>Jackson_Smylie: ACEGLOS H6 CO.GEALS +62 92
>Arie_Sinke: ?AEELWZ 7G Z.WEE +52 120
#note Clearly best.
>Jackson_Smylie: BIKNR 6J BRINK +39 131
>Arie_Sinke: ?AAELRT M2 pARE.TAL +68 188
#note I looked for something that scored more than 68, but it was not to be. At any rate, this isy not the best bingo, as I don't need to set up 8L-O. I can play ASTERnAL 13G for the same score and avoid that, or pRENATAL instead of pATERNAL. Also, REAL/TEAL C12 for 13 is an option to retain the blank that sims comparably with the bingos.
>Jackson_Smylie: ADEIOSV 4G AVOIDE.S +82 213
>Arie_Sinke: DEIIORU 11H .UDIO +12 200
#note This looks best despite its low score; no other viable options; DOUX and ROUX are too aggressive and the leaves are weak.
>Jackson_Smylie: GJU 5E JUG +25 238
>Arie_Sinke: AEIINRW 8L W.IN +33 233
#note Looks best.
>Jackson_Smylie: ?EIITTT 3A TITTIEs +65 303
>Arie_Sinke: AEHINOR A1 AN.IHERO +158 391
#note Only bingo, nice to surge into the lead.
>Jackson_Smylie: BOR C12 ROB +39 342
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEFOO B13 FA +39 430
#note I eschewed SEAFOOD 13H because it gave up too many points, but it does comparably to FA in the sim, and it's proabably a good choice. I really want to stay far enough ahead to survive one bingo, though, and FA seems to do that. I didn't like FAD instead of FA because the D helps me play through vowel heavy racks on my next turn and avoids disastrous 7 vowel draws, but the sim rates FA and FAD comparably.
>Jackson_Smylie: ELMTU 10A LUTE.M +33 375
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEOOY 12L EYED +24 454
#note This sacrifices a lot of equity to block the N and the S. A long sim thinks I win more often with AYE or another 15A play for 33/36, and I get that; I could be in trouble after EYED if Jackson bingos from the A. It's a difference of about 2%; 96% versus 98%.
>Jackson_Smylie: ACFHILR N11 F.RAL +16 391
>Arie_Sinke: ACEOORS 15L CO.A +27 481
#note This looks fine; fishing is unlikely to succeed here.
>Jackson_Smylie: HIMNPST 2E HM +28 419
>Arie_Sinke: ENORS J9 RE.ONS +11 492
#note Best out.
