>allan_oyende: ABEOPRY H4 YBORE +28 28
#note YBORE is definitely the best move here. Oyende prefers to open the game vertically this time.
>okechi_richard: AFHINTU G4 FAH +26 26
#note I took some time for this turn.
If I play UNFAITH and it is good, I go ahead and gain control early, if it is bad, I might go 50 marks behind and remain with FUH to deal with against Oyende. I doubt it and choose to focus elsewhere.
(B)IFTAH gives me 28, offers more options but I would not prefer giving Oyende too many floaters.
Carefully, I go with the conservative FAH for 26.
>allan_oyende: AHIPQTY F6 PITHY +41 69
>allan_oyende: ALOOQTZ (challenge) +5 74
#note Oyende yet again picks the very best move.

I challenge partly coz I am convinced I can play LUMINAT(E)* and as I am not sure of the word PITHY itself.
>okechi_richard: AILMNTU G9 MU +22 48
#note Balancing to remain with close to ANESTRI leave as possible, the L can stay this time.
Turns out I found the best move.
The LUMINATE move that I could have otherwise played confidently is a phony.
>allan_oyende: ALOOQTZ 8D QA. +22 96
#note Forced by circumstances, Oyende finds the best move again disposing his Q early on.
The Q is at the center of the board and you could expect either of us to use it in an eight leter word later but the chances are very low, no apparent risk.
>okechi_richard: ?AIILNT 11G TAILINg +67 115
#note I have the first blank, I can't see anything starting from the E at the center going right.
I patiently run through the alphabet to find a safe placement starting with MU?, TAILING looks fine but might cause some damage, I hoped not.
>allan_oyende: ELOOTTZ H11 .ZOTE +72 168
#note Oyende doesn't stop finding the best moves and he has not been taking so much time yet.
Of course, (A)ZOTE is better than (A)ZOLE as it gets rid of the repeated letter T
>okechi_richard: EGNORTU K6 ROUTE.NG +59 174
#note For me, the bad thing with having floaters on the board is that there might be an unknown 8-letter word I dont know.
Luckily, the choice here is only between OUTRE(I)GN and ROUTE(I)NG, ROUTEING is the better choice by far.
>allan_oyende: CDDLOST 13G C.D +11 179
#note At this point, Oyende shuffles his rack as if he is trying to remember a word that he studied decades ago only for him to play C(O)D for a mere 11 marks.
My thinking here is, why did he choose to leave the E alive? He must be having options, he might be left with the another letter D, he might bingo again before I do, he wants the board open, he wants to take me to unfamiliar territories.
>okechi_richard: EEEGIOS L4 OGEE +14 188
#note I have too many E's and still there is a floating E on the board.
I play OGEE, fairly good move, TAILINGS is available for a bingo as well as overlappting OGEE or behind it.
At least, I can be sure that I haven't made a mistake in this turn.
>allan_oyende: ADLLOST 8K .DALS +33 212
#note The game is fairly balanced, looking back I think I have not suffered much from missing UNFAITH.
Oyende plays (U)DALS, 33, I call hold, but i let go shortly.
So far, my opponent has found top choices apart from the C(O)D move, which is debatable.
Let's hope my mistakes will offer a brilliant game.
>okechi_richard: ACEFIOS M3 COIF +29 217
#note I spot FOCAL(I)SE which is unplayable (from knowing FOCALIZE). FIASCO is known to me a blocker.
After a short while I went for COIF, best non-bingo option.

Missed bingoes: FIASCOE(S)...92, FASCIO(L)E....80.
With the S and on the board and still unused, it is as good as eight tiles on his rack given his wordpower, tough middlegame.

>allan_oyende: ELORRTT 4B TORRE.. +26 238
#note Second time Oyende is going for second best move in this game, he goes for tile turnover instead of ROT for 26.
>okechi_richard: AEEENNS I6 NEE +18 235
#note Too many E's again, I seem to have found a way to deal with them.
There is a free T, E and S available as well as the double word score above letter O, which I am not able to use yet.
>allan_oyende: AAELRRT E10 AR +10 248
#note Again, Oyende misses the best option and goes for the second best move. R(I)A(D) would score six more.
Disposing AR offers a perfect leave for LATER use.
>okechi_richard: AELNOSU 3C LOUN +18 253
#note Blunder!
Disposing OU was just enough.
>allan_oyende: ABEKLRT 12B BALK +27 275
#note BALK, third best move, still okay.
No intention to close the game soon.

>okechi_richard: AAEGNSU 13A GENA +20 273
#note Terrible miss, nothing to discuss here.
>allan_oyende: ?EEINRT O8 .cIENTER +74 349
>allan_oyende: EIIJOPS (challenge) +5 354
#note +5, this might as well take the game as the possibilities have been reduced for me on coming turns.
>okechi_richard: ADSUVVX -DUVVX +0 273
#note Didn't even consider VAX for 35 at LA(V).
Very unwise move.
>allan_oyende: EIIJOPS B10 JI..S +60 414
#note Another 60 to take the game away.
Hastybot standards maintained by Oyende so far.
>okechi_richard: AAMSSWW 14D WAW +23 296
#note Now the game is gone, chunga spread.
>allan_oyende: DEIOPVX 10N X. +25 439
#note POXED for 53 is a good idea, but as is the tradition, he plays X(I) to leave one in the bag.
He mentioned "AUDISMS"was still available so he had to be certain.
On my end, I didn't have it and I didn't know it.
>okechi_richard: ADIMSSV K2 VID +11 307
#note I have the last A, there is one tile in the bag, how about we set up to finish on the next turn?
>allan_oyende: DEIOPUV 5B OPED +32 471
#note Nothing he can do about AVID, so he goes for the best move as he has been doing in this game.
>okechi_richard: AIMSS 1K AMISS +38 345
#note Here is a word you should never miss, AMISS.
>okechi_richard: (IUV) +12 357
#note Farily balanced game, perfect play from Oyende, entertaining misses from me ( I hope).
