#note Only good S hook on board is QADIS, so figured it was ok to spend it for a bunch more points and hopefully blanks.

#note There's no need to lose to DECLINE here. I somehow only saw DECIBEL in the pool. But what else, then - maybe B11 POND? (edit - ok, will try not to be so lazy...DECLINE plays to the R as well, as do a couple other 8s. Given the score, I also have to worry about being outrun, so DHURNA is probably okay to win any game that Kevin doesn't out-bingo on me. Alternatively, 10I SHUN looks good to score well, block the R, give little back, and perhaps leave only BENEDICK as an out bingo. In-game, I was less worried about bingos and more concerned with ensuring that even crummy draws would work decently with S?.)
