#note hated all my options, I guess OAF is fine and standard, just very gross. This might be a bit technically worse, but I liked the upside of him possibly doubting the E hook (a mistake I have made before)

#note mostly considered ZAP/PHIZ and ULVA, but also the other placements for those words. ULVAS/DEPS is cute to set up Z?P plays, but doesn't seem quite worth it overall to spend the S. I preferred ULVA to ZAP since ZAP can encourage plays to the P that close DEPS, which is a nice tough to block lane that I don't wnat to see closed. I think ULVA is fine

#note actual rack. He has QIS as well, which is very standard. CROQUIS has the advantage of reaching for blanks, but it still sims around 13 below QIS since CEORS hits the 14 row so much

>Jackson_Smylie: ALPSTTU 2L PUT +16 255
#note not doing PUTTO/PLUOT here with my deficit. I misadded somewhere and had me with 30 extra points, which thankfully didn''t change my play, but just makes this aggression even more warranted. I think it's close between PUTT and PUT. PUTT is slightly harder to block, reaches an extra tile for the blank, but doesn't hit quite as much as PUT, since the T helps the leave, works well for the 14 row, O column, and 1 row. Still looks close overall. I had a really good feeling about PUTT which I maybe should have trusted, but PUT is so solid on paper, with few good tiles fitting at 1M for easy blocks

#note actual rack
>Jackson_Smylie: AELOSTW 10L .OW +14 269
#note tough turn. I didn't consider OWLETS/OBI, which is actually decent. Really only okay since it goes for ??. I think the board can still be too easily kept closed for that to work, but at least I usually have the 1 row next turn after he takes A12. WO(T) was tempting to stay more in range, but I think Jason is taking away DEPS quite often if I am not proactive. I'm wondering if WO(O) makes more sense than ROW. I expect ROW to be blocked very often, and then since it serves only as a distraction to keep the 14 row open, it kinda sucks to exhaust the whole right side, when a play like WO(O) 15H still preserves DEPS while keeping the right side open for more opening later, stuff like GHERKINS parallels that open more lanes. ROW is still very nice and aggressive immediately, and maybe he blocks less often than I think given the 14 row open. Open to ideas here

#note a few bingoes play here, SABICUS, CUMBIAS, and PUBLICAN
>Jackson_Smylie: AEGIOTT E9 GA..OT +15 368
#note Definitely rushed this turn. realized I had to leave 1 in the bag, but I think other plays are technically better than this. I have to hit a bingo either at the bottom or row 1, and if we somehow both split blanks and neither of us bingo, GALIOT definitely isn't the call, giving him easy points. I really need to just maximize my bingo ercentage here, and I should keep DEPS open instead of the 1 row. In a sim, TOTE N4 maximizes my bingo %, closely followed by M12 TOIT, then GETA and IOTA, and finally GALIOT. I think Jason will correctly sacrifice points to play on row 1 sometimes, so TOTE may be too optimistic (it hits the N well, but if Jason sees that as the more threatening lane, I should keep something that hits the 14 row better). Given TOIT only bingoes a couple % less often than TOTE in a sim, it probably bingoes the most IRL, since it hits row 14 and row 1 fairly well. This is quite a large error IMO, and I really rushed this move for no reason.
