>Joshua_Sokol: EFGIRUV H1 GRIEF +35 117
#note yeah I just missed F5 GUV. Should have done that. This was lazy at best. F(O)RGIVE 11G, G13 FUG also might be better than this. #findingmedium
>Joel_Horn: HTUY 11G Y.UTH +22 37
>Joshua_Sokol: AIINRUV F2 VAIR +21 138
#note J8 VIR(T)U I didn't consider. F2 NAIRU is pretty good here too, if not for the lane it creates on E6
>Joel_Horn: HIO 3C OHI. +14 51
>Joshua_Sokol: ADIIINU 2F .I.IDIAN +16 154
#note let me be clear, this play is objectively bad. Quackle thinks it's around 9 points worse than NIDI 4A for 25, my original consideration. However, if I input Joel's exact rack, this play does slightly better than NIDI. I did not know Joel's exact rack, but I had a tell that he had at least one playable bingo. VIRIDIAN could have blocked said bingo and NIDI could have given him a better one for all I knew, so I made this very bold play as a result. #content
>Joel_Horn: DILNORS 13C ORDIN.LS +72 123
>Joshua_Sokol: EEGQRUW L1 W.GE +24 178
#note wasn't sure if I should play off the R too. Went back and forth, thought that it should be useful. Was wrong. #tacticssmall
>Joel_Horn: EEW 4B EWE +27 150
>Joshua_Sokol: EEQRTTU 1L .ERT +23 201
#note totally forgetting about TWEER being valid. I figured this was better than T(W)EET after some thought, since I'm denying my chances at QUOTE(R) and stuff at D8, but TWEER is better. Luckily I think I got this one right, since the E is very valuable particularly against Joel who tends to have lots of E's on his rack, especially after playing EWE instead of AWE.

>Joel_Horn: ?CDDEJL -- -101 150
>Joshua_Sokol: BEOQSTU L9 BOSQUET +100 301
#note welp, he has TEAZLINg for 128, which was really funny to me after I had missed (TE)ASELINg the day before. I thought my bingo scored a lot, and luckily it was good enough for high turn since the higher top play entrant got a place prize instead.
>Joel_Horn: ?AEILNZ 2A ZIN +30 180
#note I swear I looked at possible 3x3s through the T guys. The fact that this BOSQUET position even exists in the first place is both an abomination to the game of Scrabble and a testament to Scrabble's beauty.
>Joshua_Sokol: ACCORVY 15G CAVOR. +33 334
>Joel_Horn: ?AEELNT E6 ENTAiLE. +66 246
#note couple of things fit from the T, but maybe leaving the T for later could be the call since it might be tricky to block it.
>Joshua_Sokol: CDFPRSY 8A CRYP. +45 379
#note I'd like to say that I only saw this play because I missed it in a woogles puzzle once in a very similar position at the top middle triple. Maybe this can make it as an honorary puzzle. Come thru woogles team much love <3

#note oh no my spread
>Joshua_Sokol: ADFMSST 5J FASTS +25 454
#note thought for a minute that I couldn't block both JUBA spots effectively but I was seeing ghosts. MASTS is 1 point better because D(I)F F12 as a followup scores 3 more points than D(I)M as a followup. -1 #endgamesmall #mathsaddest
