>Josh: BEEIRWZ H7 WIZ +30 30
#note looks good, slightly better than BIZE
>Jackson: AILQRRU I9 AR +15 15
#note it was between ARIL, QUIZ, AR, and RIAL to me. RIAL is cute to set up the U, but there's really not much upside to that, and it gives back more to him. I felt similarly AR was better than ARIL cause ARIL doesnt particularly do anything for my Q but hands him more options, whereas after AR I felt I could get some Q comebacks on row 12 or column L after he plays on the 11 row. Q prefers QUIZ to AR with ARIL third. QUIZ seems fine, one of those uninspired plays that just scores enough to outdo the more satisfying options
>Josh: BEELMRS 11I BEL +15 45
#note lots of options are fairly close, BERM, BEL, BEL, EM, MIB. BERM/ARB sims best and is the most standard, but G6 BEL is second in a sim. The 11 row really isn't so big for me, but he could get some double doubles. Any of these options seem okay
>Jackson: EILQRRU I3 QUIRE +31 46
>Josh: EMNRRST 4H M.RRE +20 65
#note seems fine, or RETRIMS for 16 more, or TZAR or RUM. The S is nice here. They all sim close together once again, with RETRIMS then TZAR on top
>Jackson: CDLORUY L10 CLOUDY +38 84
>Josh: ENOOSTT M2 TESTOON +74 139
>Jackson: DDHOORX N5 OX +52 136
>Josh: DEFIKNU 15H FUNK. +45 184
#note KNIFE sims a bit better. The two scoring spots are about equal on average, and DU isnt quite 6 worse than DEI
>Jackson: DDHHORT O5 DOTH +38 174
>Josh: CDEIIUV K2 VI.UCIDE +78 262
>Jackson: ADEGHJR 13K J.G +22 196
#note mostly considered JUG and JUDGE here, but didnt see HADJ(I), which I really like. I can also do EDH/BELLE to just keep scoring, which is probably better than JUG. he has an A so often and I really need an S to make things happen on this board. I think JUDGE is okay here to turn over more tiles for the S, cause he averages about the same after JUG and JUDGE. I think I would do JUDGE or HADJI in a do-over. HADJI is typically the type of play you want to make on a closed board, but because of the two S hooks, the SQUIRE one being basically impossible to block, I dont need to be quite as proactive in opening as normal.
>Josh: AAINNVY N10 AVIAN +32 294
#note looks good, slightly better than NAVY.
>Jackson: ADEHIRS 12C DEHAIRS +80 276
#note takin the lower s hook cause upstairs is harder to block, and i will likely still need another bingo to win.
>Josh: AEGLNRY O13 LAY +33 327
#note YANG or RELAY parallelling DEHAIRS looks lke the call
>Jackson: ?BLPPTW E11 P.T +16 292
#note PHT doesnt even show up on speedy's choices, and it is a weird looking play, but I still dont mind it. The idea is to prevent him from scoring well parallelling DEHAIRS if I exchange, which would put him up by enough that bingoes might not win, especially cause SQUIRE will set up an E hook. PHT will likely not bingo next turn (need OS for BLOWUPS), but I can still make sure 2 lanes are open and make a scoring play to bingo the following turn. BL(A)W might be a better idea here, but I think quackle over-values it (thinks I bingo almost 50% of the time next turn, which is waaay too high given josh's defensive response).
>Josh: AEEFGNR 14F FRENA +29 356
#note josh going for the outrun/draw blanks strat. I think REF(T) is also a decent idea, cause if he can draw an S for SQUIRE he could really start sealing me in, whereas this gives me more options to bingo-bango
>Jackson: ?BELNPW N1 PEW +25 317
#note not sure here. I didn't love that WEB could occasionally let him block SQUIRE, and PEW can do well against SQUIRE plays of his own. Sucks that he can get some easy scores here though. WEB is probably fine as well
>Josh: AEEEGIM O1 AGE +34 390
>Jackson: ?ABILNO 2C ALBINOs +74 391
>Josh: EEEIIMN 15A MEINIE +32 422
#note this seems like the best play, blocking TOSTADAS/TOSTADOS, whereas 1F MINE only blocks RISOTTOS
>Jackson: ?AGOSTT D1 G.OTTAlS +72 463
>Jackson: ?AGOSTT -- -72 391
#note I was really shocked that this was no good, I thought all the linguistics sounds were good. no wins
>Josh: EOS 1F OES +19 441
