>Max_Panitch: IIIUUUU -IUUUU +0 0
>Arie_Sinke: GGILLST 8G GILL +10 10
#note Exchanging may be called for here; keeping ILST wins a sim by a small margin. I guess the ten points just aren't worth it here.
>Max_Panitch: DEH J6 HE.D +16 16
>Arie_Sinke: BDEGSTT I7 B.ET +21 31
#note This looks fine; no other compelling options.
>Max_Panitch: ITW K5 WIT +22 38
>Arie_Sinke: DGRSTTY 4K TRY +19 50
#note I thought of TRYST in the same spot but (probably correctly) eschewed it. DGST isn't really a very good five tile leave, but at least it has an S; DG is poor, and opening up the T isn't good either.
>Max_Panitch: CPRT M2 CR.PT +24 62
>Arie_Sinke: DGIORST 9E GRID.. +17 67
#note Not sure what to do here. I think this is probably second best; it scores and keeps things tight, and BLETS is good for the S. The sim suggests (BET)TOR 7I for 23, boldly creating an S hook on the O column while scoring better than the alternatives and keeping DGIS (which is not as good as OST, but still bingos 35% of the time.) I would have a hard time making a play like BETTOR in a game context, but could be easily persuaded that it's the correct choice; it wins the sim easily.
>Max_Panitch: IIIUUUU -UUU +0 62
>Arie_Sinke: EOOPRST 11D POOREST +75 142
#note I could play BETS/STOOPER for one more here; ecschewed it because it opens up STOOPERS and an E and an R for eights; sims prefer it but I think POOREST is better.
>Max_Panitch: ADEZ 12A ZEDA +56 118
>Arie_Sinke: AEFMOUW 13B WAMEFOU +100 242
#note Astounded and delighted to find this play and have a spot for it!
>Max_Panitch: EHILOO L7 HOOLIE +29 147
>Arie_Sinke: DEKORSU B10 KR..E +44 286
#note Looks right; scores far more than any alternative.
>Max_Panitch: AOQTU 8A QUOTA +48 195
>Arie_Sinke: DINOSUX A14 OX +29 315
#note I saw XI/XIS but eschewed them because I thought taking out KREWES was important here - XI does basically nothing to the board. I can't get a sim to agree with me but I think this has got to be the right choice.
>Max_Panitch: ENV 8L .VEN +21 216
>Arie_Sinke: BDINSUY 7C BUY +27 342
#note This looks reasonable - too bad about BUYS though.
>Max_Panitch: EEFN 2J FEN.E +36 252
>Arie_Sinke: ?DIIJNS 1H DJIN +43 385
#note Couldn't come up with DISJoIN here (?!) perhaps I played too quickly?
>Max_Panitch: AV G6 VA.. +9 261
>Arie_Sinke: ?ACEISS 3D ASCItES +66 451
#note This isn't the best bingo by any means - dISCASEE/CASSInE/AbSCISE 2B is 73. I honestly think I just put something down at random here. Autopilioting has let me down for the last two plays.
>Max_Panitch: ?AEMNRS 14H SEMiNAR +80 341
>Arie_Sinke: AAIINNU 4A UNAI +14 465
#note It's correct to block LOGIA 4A - but not with this, as it sets up GLIA, which scores more than any of the alternatives. Better by a few spread points is ANI 4B, which goes out with UNAI 5C next turn.
>Max_Panitch: AGILO 5C GLIA +16 357
>Arie_Sinke: AIN 2B AIN +10 475
>Arie_Sinke: (O) +2 477
