#note I saw GHEE, OGEE, and GONEF, which are the main considerations. GHEE doesn't accomplish enough IMO, since EFNO is less than mediocre, and I'm only blocking the T and protecting TIGHTS, which is less than lame. OGEE is your standard option, but it does make the 15 row (and 14 row) a kind of protected lane that I might need to sacrifice a lot to block. I felt like this was okay though, since there's some real potential for board restriction after OGEE if I play my cards right, since the top left and left side of the board will take some active work for Josh to make accessible. GONEFS is okay and does let me score more consistent points, which is nice.

#note I had kinda decided that the possible FLEXION extensions were no good, but I was very wrong! INFLEXION, REFLEXION, DEFLEXION, GENUFLEXION, RETROFLEXION are all good. I considered J(A)W to block the big E column lane, and JURA and JUTE. REFLEXION is clearly the best play. I chose JUTE to set up the W and keep scoring more consistent points, since there are other pretty big threats besides just the E column. I'm not sure between JAW and JUTE really (JURA is also fine). Right now JAW is looking better to me, cause he has really one turn to set up another big threat before I block the T/S hook on the right side and start really shutting things down. A sim isn't veyr helpful because it overvalues JAW due to REFLEXION, which I wouldn't play.

>Jackson: ?AHIORW L5 AIRsHOW +71 293
#note I think HOW is the play. Obviously I'm extremely likely to win either way, and AIRsHOW is thematic in closing the T and the S hook while scoring immediate points, but HOW really prevents the top left from being opened unless he hits it immediately, since UH will not take any hooks. This board restriction is probably the most important factor to me right now when up by this much.

#note might leave it in a game where spread didn't matter as much, but I really felt like these extensions were crazy. so bad

>Jackson: DLMOTUU 2A MOD.L +16 430
#note he can have ACCIDIA and AECIDIA on column O, and CORACOID on row 1. MODAL is a really bad play. I think I mistakenly thought I could Q stick him if he drew the Q after AECIDIA, forgetting that he'd be setting up a second spot. I figured I'd win if he drew the C after AECIDIA, cause I can C stick him. However, I also lost 100% after ACCIDIA. so Winning just 20% after AECIDIA and 0% after ACCIDIA is shit. The best thing I see right now is (R)OUT 7L, which almost always beats CORACOID (wins with AEQ (QUATE), EIQ (QUITE), and all the vowel draws (he has the Q)), and beats ACIDOTIC when he draws the Q. MODAL basically just hopes he doesn't hit one of the O column bingoes, very bad.
