#player2 Jackson_Smylie Jackson Smylie
>Jonathan_Lindh: DKMNNTV -DKMNV +0 0
#note Best exchange. I don't have a valid play to start.
>Jackson_Smylie: IQ H7 QI +22 22
#note This is the first and only time somebody opened vertically on me the whole tournament.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ELLNSTU 7H .UELL +15 15
#note Best play.
>Jackson_Smylie: AHKN 8L ANKH +39 61
#note Wasn't expecting to get hit this hard.
>Jonathan_Lindh: BDINSTV J6 V.ND +16 31
#note Best play. The board is not in a favorable shape for me now.
>Jackson_Smylie: ADEW N6 WA.ED +25 86
>Jonathan_Lindh: BEEFIST 10F FEEBS +31 62
#note O1 BESTIE or BETISE for 32 would have turned out better for me even though all three plays are pretty close to one another.
>Jackson_Smylie: ?HINOOZ 9A HOrIZON +77 163
#note Nice find by Jackson! If I do BESTIE or BETISE, he can just just O10 OOZINg for 75 burning the blank. Come to think of it, OOZINg may be better on this board as well by a slight margin. The Championship Player likes OOZINg best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEILRST D5 LAIR.EST +68 130
#note This play killed me mentally. I spent a very long time looking for bingos through the H. There were none. They weren't even any bingos through the O that blocked the H. I chose a bingo that opened the top of the board the most. This is also the most voltaile of the bingos as this takes a G front hook with 3 G's out. However, the G front hook never came up.
>Jackson_Smylie: CINOP A8 P.ONIC +42 205
#note I felt impending doom when this play went down, I'm down a ton and losing energy rapidly.
>Jonathan_Lindh: LMRRTUU 5B MU.L +12 142
#note L3 TUMULAR for 18 seems best to keep the board open and the GLAIRIEST hook in play but I wasn't focused. Nothing is that good on this board.
>Jackson_Smylie: ADEMPST 14A STAMPED +92 297
#note Game clinching play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EIRSTU 13E UnITERS +67 209
#note Now I'm exhausted from the LAIRIEST turn and miss the simple 15C SUITERS for 87 because of the many overlaps. I don't normally miss those kind of overlaps. Given the remaining pool, I was likely toast no matter what I played here.
>Jackson_Smylie: OX B9 .XO +53 350
#note Even with SUITERS, I'm dead after this X bomb.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AGJORTW F2 JOWAR +40 249
#note I actually didn't see 5K JOWAR for 44 even though I knew AWAKED. That's better because it preserves the GLAIRIEST hook better.
>Jackson_Smylie: ABUY 3C BAY.U +22 372
#note What an apt New Orleans word. I played PELICANS against Ed De Guzman later on in the tourney.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEFGNTT L6 F..TTEN +20 269
#note 5K FETA for 28 is better but I was exhausted and low on time at this point. I just wanted to bring this game to a close.
>Jackson_Smylie: AE H13 .EA +22 394
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACGGIIN O10 AGING +11 280
#note This rack would be much better with the GLAIRIEST hook in play.
>Jackson_Smylie: ADGO N12 GOAD +23 417
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEIORRY 6A OY +28 308
#note I9 OBEYER for 30 is really cool. OY is pretty close though.
>Jackson_Smylie: EEIIRTV O1 VERITE +35 452
#note Quackle has M3 RIVE as 9 better, but Quackle doesn't count for me mixing up VERITE and VELITE*.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEIORR - +0 308
#note I instantly challenge, passing up the opportunity to find 2J CORRIE or ORRICE for 28 both of which I knew. I confused VERITE and VELITE* thinking VERITES was a sticky S bingo. Nope just VELITES.
>Jackson_Smylie: I 13M I.. +6 458
#note Best play.
>Jackson_Smylie: (CEIORR) +16 474
#note I could have gotten more spread from this game for sure, but this was another game that wasn't winnable.
