#player2 Chris_Schneider Chris Schneider
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEHIUW 8D HAWED +32 32
#note Feels good to be back playing tournament Scrabble. This is best.
>Chris_Schneider: AAEILRT H1 LARIATE. +80 80
#note Only bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIILOTU C6 OUTLIE +21 53
#note Looks best again.
>Chris_Schneider: NU 8A UN...... +45 125
#note Very nice!
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIIMNNY B2 MEINY +49 102
#note Best again.
>Chris_Schneider: ITZ 4A Z.TI +46 171
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADIIJNU 6F JU. +26 128
#note Best again. Briefly debated whether OUTLIED* was a word and wisely came to my senses. None of the options are that good on this play.
>Chris_Schneider: AEGILRS E7 L.IRAGES +68 239
#note G2 LAIRAGES and GASALIER score 72.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEEIIN D12 ANI +16 144
#note No options are great here but F12 INIA looks like a better version of what I was trying to do and has the highest win % at a very low 15%. I considered I4 DIE which has the best static equity but didn't like what it did to the board.
>Chris_Schneider: Q 10B Q. +31 270
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEEEIIR 5H .ERIE +10 154
#note I considered I4 DIE again but declined it again due to it closing the board too much. DIE and my play are the only plays that have a nonzero win % at a meager 10% each.
>Chris_Schneider: ?CEGKOT 2G G.TElOCK +82 352
#note L4 GECKO for 26 and 7G KEG are the best valid plays for Chris at close to 100% win percentage each but Chris decides to go for the jugular and gamble with this convincing phony. I held for a while but then accepted because I thought I saw this before and I had a bingo. Bad mistake. First sizable mistake of the tournament. Probably not winning the game regardless but I have to give myself a chance.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEEIMR J4 D.EAMIER +65 219
#note Only bingo.
>Chris_Schneider: FOP 4L FOP +26 378
>Jonathan_Lindh: BLOOORU I9 BOOR +20 239
#note A15 OBOL is a little better here.
>Chris_Schneider: BY K11 BY +24 402
>Jonathan_Lindh: DLNOTTU A1 LUT. +45 284
#note Best play. My win % is a mere 0.03%.
>Chris_Schneider: ISX 6L SIX +32 434
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?DENOOT 3M OOT +25 309
#note OOT has the best equity but L12 ONTO for 20 and C13 OD offer marginally higher win percentages. G8 ENROOTED for 60 is playable and I possibly should have played that to conserve spread, but the game is basically over.
>Chris_Schneider: PSV D2 SP.V +9 443
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?DEEFNW H11 FEND +21 330
#note I throw up a desperation play which actually ends up having the highest win %. If the S is still in the bag, this could cause some problems for Chris or at least force a very low scoring block while I bingo in columns L or M.
>Chris_Schneider: ACGNRS 15H SCAN +45 488
#note Partial rack. Chris said he wasn't sure on SCRAG and that looks much better than SCAN due to the J14 spot.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AAEHVW 14J HAVEs +51 381
#note HEAVy in this spot is apparently one more.
>Chris_Schneider: DGNOR M10 DONG.R +16 504
>Chris_Schneider: DGNOR -- -16 488
#note 15M DOG is best. Not allowing a second phony.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AW C13 AW +22 403
#note Best play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (DGNOR) +14 417
#note Pretty good game game for my first tournament game in over 2 years but not challenging GATELOCK* was a low point. No huge mistakes other than that one.
