#note Mack went first this game.

>Mack_Meller: ?LNOSUY 10H SOUNdLY +77 95
>Noah_Walton: BFIIMNS J2 FIBS +29 101
#note This play sims pretty close with FIB and INFIRM, but FIBRIN, which I don't think I saw, sims best. Sets up and keeps the S. I guess I undervalued the esses on boards like these (see ZIGS from game 1).

>Noah_Walton: HILMNOO 8B HOLONI.M +64 165
>Noah_Walton: HILMNOO -- -64 101
#note Oof. I knew this was a close to a bunch of words (HELENIUM, HOLMIUM, POLONIUM), but elected to play it anyway. And I did see MOHO, which is not even that much worse if this is good!
>Mack_Meller: CCEETVX 6E EX +52 201
#note MM: Not really any good way to block 3B MOHO here. Could do CECUM but I'm giving up so much equity over the EX + CIVET sequence, and he still has COHO or 6F HOLO after CECUM, which are only like ~10 points worse than MOHO. I1 VEX is also an option but the V is actually OK here since I'm guaranteed CIVET next turn (he never plays there with his rack).

>Noah_Walton: ADEIKLN -- -82 142
>Mack_Meller: CEFHPQT M9 F.ETCH +36 263
#note MM: QOPH gives back ALKINE for 50 so that's a no-go. FLETCH doesn't give that much back and I have a decent chance of getting down 12K QAT or 14J QOPH (or even QOPHS) next turn, or worst case something like 8G QUIP unloading the Q. This looks correct.

>Mack_Meller: AEIOPQS 14J QOP.S +78 341
>Noah_Walton: AEILVWY F4 W.. +13 191
#note Meh, maybe this is bad. It seems really unlikely for Mack to actually leave the triple open, but if he does, I can get VALKYRIE. But just playing WEAKLY O1 and drawing a big bingo on row 15 seems like a much more plausible (though still very unlikely) winning line.

#note Basically giving up here, not sure how I can really get a chance.

>Noah_Walton: IIILORR E9 LIRI +19 283
>Mack_Meller: ABESTTZ K6 BEZA.T. +34 542
#note MM: Might be better to do something like F19 BAT keeping the Z for row 15, but spread was irrelevant and at this point both of us were ready to move on to the next game so I played this pretty quickly.
