#note Rd 1 Philly virtual 11-14-2021. First tourney that I'm gonna post that involved Woogles tournament mode. Good start for her for sure.
>skaplan31: EEINRRX K3 REXIN. +26 26
#note 9K REX would have been fine, it's more defensive and doesn't offer her big Column J scoring opportunities. I didn't like the C being in the position it's in, which kinda prompted me to play this. 9K REX is still the play. #visionlarge
>judyr: BEEILOT J6 BE.IL +36 82
#note This is what happens when I don't make as safe of a play as I could have. In fact, I'm lucky she didn't see J3 OBELI(Z)E for 41 which would have really put me in a world of hurt.
>skaplan31: EEFIRTU L2 REFIT +42 68
#note Thankfully I found this play to stay within striking distance, at least for now.
>judyr: EGHIOTW I7 H.G +28 110
#note 8H WHE(RE)TO is the highest scoring play, but this mucks it up nicely.
>skaplan31: ABDEMUV M1 DEV +28 96
#note Meanwhile, while I'm behind, 3G UMBE(RE)D should have been my move. Got too focused on dumping the V.

>skaplan31: ABIMOUV K10 OVUM +20 116
#note I'm just not gonna score a whole lot on this board at this time.
>judyr: EFIIITT 2L ..F +22 153
#note Interesting...
>skaplan31: AABEIIU 13I IA.BI +20 136
#note After what I perceived to be a fish, I opted for this safer play over 13J IMBUE. For what it's worth, it's a better equity play and the only other play worth considering that's not an exchange.
>judyr: EGIIITT -GIIT +0 153
#note 14G GITE seems worth it here- right now only she can score on Row 15 if I didn't draw an O or the only remaining I unseen to her. I ain't doing too much on this board once again.
>skaplan31: AAEHOOU -AAEHOOU +0 136
#note The H might seem like an OK tile to hang onto normally, but I just wasn't seeing much of a purpose to keeping the H on this board. It's almost gonna be a race to who can bingo first, and a lot of the bingoes are pretty much only gonna be on Row 12 or Row 14. I think I'm gonna have to be the first one to not "blink" to get anything on Judy at this point.
>judyr: EEEILST 12C EELIEST +68 221
#note That's not what I needed to see happen off a 7 tile exchange. But it was possible with how pretty good this pool is for bingoes right now.
>skaplan31: AAJMRTT C8 RAMJ.T +32 168
#note Didn't like 13A JAM while I was down. I felt I was too far behind to feed her a bone with a nice scoring opportunity placing the J right above the TWS. This at least puts the board in a good position to be opened up and not easily blocked.
>judyr: AADGINU 8A DA.ING +27 248
#note I guess this will help me nicely.
>skaplan31: AEIPQRT 12M QI +22 190
#note Definitely not doing this at 7D while behind. I need to scare her a bit.
>judyr: AACRUUU F6 AU.UR +10 258
#note You gotta love it when an opponent's slightly suboptimal play ends up "accidentally" blocking my bingoes! UGGHHHH
>skaplan31: AAELPRT 14I PA +15 205
#note PATERNAL and PARLANTE both got blocked, as well as a disconnected 2x2 PRE(N)ATA(L). Now I gotta settle for this fish which I hope works out for me.
>judyr: ACEKTUY E2 TACKY +33 291
#note E4 YUK seems fine after I just fished.
>skaplan31: AELNORT 11C .OE +26 231
#note Idk what to do here, I'm down 86 and 1 bingo might not even be enough at this point. I guess I have another shot at the 3 remaining Ss with this over JO.
>judyr: ??AENUW A1 UNWAllE. +83 374
#note Even though UNsWAyE(D) and UNaWAkE(D) are both 92 at A1, this gets the job done for her and puts me in a firm stranglehold.
>skaplan31: ALNORST 7A .L +4 235
#note It's a nice enough pool to the point where O7 LORANS, TOLANS, or even ROTLS sim much better than this lame fish. I'm just not too happy at this point, but I needed to just cut spread instead of passing those plays up. #strategylarge
>judyr: DLNOOSS O12 SOLD +31 405
>skaplan31: AENORST 15C ATONERS +80 315
#note Wow, maybe I should have drawn a bingo the turn before this, huh? Oh wait, Judy probably would have taken out Row 15 even if I had made a non-fishing move the turn prior on Column O. Lol
>judyr: GNOOPRS B1 POOR +27 432
#note Nice play by Judy to guarantee herself an out while scoring the most in the process.
>skaplan31: ADEHINT C2 HET +33 348
#note Good here for cutting the most spread I possibly could as she does have 10J (LO)NGS as her out.
>judyr: GNS 10J ..NGS +8 440
#note Oh well, wasn't my game. I think my only true mistake was not seeing UMBE(RE)D when I did DEV as that would have allowed the top left to be opened earlier and not allowed cheap points from Judy with REF (although she did keep garbage after that). Also, I should learn to recognize when it's OK to blow up a bingo-friendly rack for 30+ when the unseen pool is nice if it means not throwing away more spread.
