#note Rd 2 Ed Mini 9-8-2021. Very interesting and aggressive move to start.
>skaplan31: ABDRUXY 7H XU +22 22
#note I thought about keeping the X, but since I felt Ed was keeping very strong, I was more inclined to stop him instead of doing a 2-move score which in some cases would hurt me long term. I felt this restricted his options more than doing F2 BUY, which would have set up RAX nicely on Column E. If I had seen F3 DAUBRY, I might have considered that too, but the value of the X doesn't go up by that much after that as only E4 AX or E2 HOAX would have actually netted me something. For those reasons, my play does sim about 4.5 in valuation ahead of DAUBRY, but about 1.1 behind BUY.

#note I think J8 SOJU is worth it here, ISUVZ won't really help him much here.
>skaplan31: AABDORY K4 BOYARD +37 59
#note Looks good, I once again thought Ed was keeping extremely well, so I ended up going with this option which gives back much less over K5 BYROAD.

>skaplan31: AEEORTT L1 OATER +22 81
#note So it turns out, Ed was fighting through some bad racks. After Ed floated an S and an E in an aggressive position, I wasn't afraid to be bold myself too.

>skaplan31: ADEEILT M1 .EAD +26 107
#note Not bad, and I did have the right idea, but I do like BAILED in this spot a little better. #findingmedium
>eddybear: AEEFIUV 9C FAUVE +22 118
#note I do think J1 UVEA is safer for him here. Well, at least the easy front hooks to WIS are harder to hit now.
>skaplan31: DEILLNT 8A LIED +31 138
#note Best play.
>eddybear: EIINPRR C7 R..INER +22 140
#note O6 IN(S)PIRER does play for 61.
>skaplan31: GILNNTT 10B L.NT +12 150
#note Wow, N7 NETTLING is not hard to spot! YUCK
>eddybear: ACCIOPU N6 CU. +11 151
>skaplan31: EGIINTU A10 GUNITE +30 180
#note This time I did see INTRIGUE if the R was 1 spot further over as well as UNTIEING if LINT wasn't there. To go up by a decent margin and go for the blanks, it's worth it to make this move despite me blowing up a somewhat promising rack.
>eddybear: ACGILOP 11E AGO +14 165
#note I do really like M8 ZIPOLA for 36 here.
>skaplan31: ?AIINOT 13C .IgATONI +59 239
#note After looking for some time, I didn't miss anything thru the S as all I saw there was OSTINATI. This is the only bingo.
>eddybear: CHILPRS H12 L.CH +30 195
#note Right idea, HOLP is 39 for him.
>skaplan31: ?EEEFNS 14J FE +26 265
#note Unfortunately, dEFENSE got blocked. Definitely wasn't giving Ed a free scoring spot with FEE in the same spot. I'm fine with this one.
>eddybear: IIOPQRS L12 QIS +30 225
>skaplan31: ?AEENST O8 .ENSATEd +74 339
#note Yep. (S)ENSATEs and (S)ArSENET also give the least back over (S)TErANES.
>eddybear: DIOOPRY M12 ID +23 248
>skaplan31: EGMPRTW D12 W.MP +38 377
#note Best play by far.
>eddybear: ILOOPRY N14 YO +21 269
#note Best for him.
>skaplan31: AEGHMRT 14F MA. +25 402
#note I would have saved a vowel by doing 2K HAEM. #visionsmall
>eddybear: IKLOPRV 11M VI. +13 282
>skaplan31: EGHNRT 2K H..N +18 420
#note I saw it this time.
>eddybear: KLOPR B6 KO. +19 301
>skaplan31: EGRT 9I TE. +17 437
#note J10 REGIFT is my only out which I failed to spot. At least he can't do a whole lot with what he has.
>eddybear: LPR F11 .R..P +10 311
>skaplan31: GR 5J G.. +7 444
>eddybear: L J9 .L +4 315
#note Interesting start with me countering Ed's seemingly good range when really he was fighting thru some clunk. Endgame could have been better though. 2-0 now.
