#note Rd 6 Philly virtual 4-18-2021. There's no way I'm in contention to win this one unlike the previous 3 tourneys. In fact, I'm fighting to not finish last. I would have thought he might do JUG to restrict parallels.
>skaplan31: EGIIITT 9C TITI +15 15
#note The only way I'm gonna score anything is by giving him exactly the kind of board he craves.
>DaBag: AEFIJRT 7G TAJ +24 50
#note And this is what I meant by his playing style, that he would give up that many points to not do 10B JET. I also like 10E AFRIT here if he wants to make me open up for cheap and then he can cash the J to score again next turn.
>skaplan31: AEGIKLN 6F KA +19 34
#note This or KAE in this spot are fine. Gotta bingo.

#note Thank you.
>DaBag: DEENRSU 11H ENDURES +70 183
#note No thank you. This plays at 4B for 10 more. Still, no thank you.
>skaplan31: DIOOORS H1 OORI. +18 133
#note Definitely the move, good for the board and for the leave.
>DaBag: ?ADMOOV 3G V.OOM +15 198
#note Mitchell had 3F VA(R)OOMeD for 80 and N6 VAMOO(S)eD for 73. This move still irked me because I had a bingo, and of course he picked the right spot to block.
>skaplan31: DDEOPRS 2J PORED +42 175
#note 3G PRODDERS is the bingo that he just had to take out! PEDRO in the same spot does sim better than this understandably because I have the S. That's a miss. #findingbad
>DaBag: ?AABDEY 1M BAY +31 229
#note He had 2 bingoes here too: N8 ABA(S)EDlY for 80 and the very hard to see L7 DAYB(R)EAk for 78. H10 (RE)DBAY is not a bad play to consider here especially with the blank, assuming he saw it.
>skaplan31: DGSSTUW D7 W..ST +23 198
>DaBag: ?ABCDEI C1 CArBIDE +80 309
#note Perfectly safe play to make over L8 AsC(R)IBED. I'm in favor of this one for sure. He also had N7 BACk(S)IDE for 74, and again, blank Ks aren't always easy to see. But I would have passed up N7 BACk(S)IDE at this score if I was Mitchell.
>skaplan31: CDEGPSU A11 PUDGE +34 232
#note Hard call between 12D SPUED and my play. I'm gonna have to draw a play like 12D SILEX as well as a bingo to have any chance which is why I went with this much more open play.
>DaBag: AAHLNOY 1A LO.H +39 348
#note 1L NACHO does keep a better leave for him but this does score nicely too.
>skaplan31: CEERSSX K8 EXC.SERS +67 299
#note Thought about passing up the bingo, but now's the time to go all in.
>DaBag: ?AAENNY 15H NAY. +21 369
#note 2nd time I had a bingo blocked, but this time it was more expected.
>skaplan31: AEFILNV D4 IF +23 322
#note 15D FLAVINES this time for 104. Still, ugh.
>DaBag: ?AENTUW N7 UNWA.TEd +74 443
#note And now I'm dead.
>skaplan31: AAELMNV O5 VENA +29 351
#note Nothing will stop him from scoring with the Z so gotta just go out in 2.
>DaBag: AILNZ 9I ZA. +51 494
#note Yea, it's not a good situation when I can't stop him from making plays like that or M10 ZEIN.
>skaplan31: ALM O13 LAM +18 369
#note 14I MARL for 1 more.
Last tourney, I looked unstoppable, but this time, not so easy. While I definitely can't be missing wins like I did the first game regardless of going OT or not, I did have 2 games where I played so well (see Round 4 especially) and then a late bingo dooms me after making the right move. Finished last and I can't win them all.
