#note Rd 2. I'm 2nd.
>TheBigEZ: BDFRTTU H7 FUB +16 16
#note Nothing stands out here. TUFT or BUTT or TURF do get rid of another consonant.
>skaplan31: GHHJNOW I8 HOW +20 20
#note Anything I do keeps clunky leaves myself, in fact, worse than Ed. While HONG might do a better job of freeing up some consos, this will force Ed to float a vowel for me so that I can score something with my high pointers as this takes more hooks than HONG.
>TheBigEZ: ?DLPRTT 9H ..LT +6 22
#note Exchanging does sim better than playing thru this rack most likely because he would force me to play on the somewhat bad board that I just created. While keeping the L might be OK for HOWL, there's many hooks remaining. Exchanging DPRTT and exchanging DLPT are the best moves here.
>skaplan31: AEGGHJN 11I EGG +20 40
#note What to think of Ed's range here? He's probably not keeping many vowels based off his last move. It's probably not so bad to play 11H JEAN here because he probably can't have many good J plays that start at H11. The only downside is GGH is just very bad on this board unless I draw a J play, which isn't even a guarantee itself. This does further limit what Ed can use to score anything next turn. 11H JEAN does win the sim by a slight margin, but my play does allow fewer points back.
>TheBigEZ: ?DMPRTZ -DMP +0 22
#note And this board is so bad that Q actually favors burning the blank with H11 TRuMP, TRoMP, or TRaMP!
>skaplan31: AHIJNOQ G6 QI +18 58
#note Again no great options. He just exchanged 3 so might as well make the board even harder for him. My play or K5 JOINT are fine. Since I want to bingo ASAP, the Q needs to go first.
>TheBigEZ: ?IORSTZ F7 RITZ +39 61
#note This is best for him. He could also burn the blank with H11 TZaRS or 8K IZaRS for the equivalent of a bingo. I would have made his play in this spot.
>skaplan31: AEHJNOO 12K OHO +15 73
#note Maybe 12J OOH? That friggin J is annoying as hell.
>TheBigEZ: ?AKNORS 13H ANORaKS +92 153
#note Yeesh. Nice play!
>skaplan31: ADEJNVY H12 J.DE +60 133
#note Not sure how I missed JAVA in this spot...
>TheBigEZ: ADGIOPW 14H .OW +30 183
>skaplan31: AACENVY 11C CAVY +41 174
#note This over NAVY in this spot to prevent underlaps that would kill the bottom left for the most part.
>TheBigEZ: ADGIIOP 14L PAID +32 215
#note Ed's best play by far.
>skaplan31: AEELNPT C6 PENTA.LE +78 252
#note Yes! Saw D4 PANETELA as wel. PANATELA is also a word fyi.
>TheBigEZ: DGIINOY 8A YO.I +24 239
#note Perfectly safe over 12A OILY. D1 YOGINI would work nicely if he wanted a more aggressive move.
>skaplan31: ACEINRV K2 NAVICER. +76 328
#note Not bad, but I did miss A1 VICENARY which is 25 more. A distant 2nd best play isn't good enough.
>TheBigEZ: DEEGINT D4 GIE +12 251
#note 15N TE is a good fish worth considering.
>skaplan31: AEEIOST E3 IOTA +20 348
#note Decided to outrun more over fishing with 4K VOE.
>TheBigEZ: DEILNRT A1 TRENDIL. +89 340
#note Well that escalated quickly. Nice find and a super cool play is 3E (I)NTERL(A)ID. But this best because often times, an inverse relationship exists between flashiness and correctness.
>skaplan31: ?AEESUX B2 EX +31 379
#note I did not see 14A ASUpEX which woud have actually been worth considering at this score, after Ed is random.
>TheBigEZ: AEIMMRT 5H MAR.TIME +62 402
#note Get outta here man...very nice find!
>skaplan31: ?ADEESU M2 AUD.tEES +70 449
#note I did look for a while, and this is shockingly the only bingo that exists.
>TheBigEZ: AELNRUU 15A NEURULA. +77 479
#note Well there's nothing I could have done here. Very well played game Ed! That bingo war was fun to be a part of, although being KO'd by an out bingo isn't so fun.
