#note TARST Leg 9. This opening rack looks familiar. Maybe from a nationals annotated game or a game of Rafi's? I kind of remember discussing MAW vs. MAWED on some rack.

#note I think I wanted to be (and probably was) biased towards playing quickly for the rest of this game, since Will was at 8:17 to my 16:05 after GLIDE.

#note This is a cool potential two-turn setup.

#note I briefly looked for the possibility of setups, but somehow didn't notice the huge column H Z spot, looking only at row 14, which looked annoying but not worth dealing with. Once I saw this, I played it pretty quickly and excitedly. IONS is also available. Or, I could block the Z, probably with NICE. That might just be the better play here, because Z plays are so lucrative. Even just inferring the Z, NICE sims way better than ESCHAR. Actually, SEC is maybe even stronger. It takes out row 14! (Though makes my second S seems pretty likely to him.) I guess he could not have the Z, but how much sense does that really make? Would he really take out that juicy bingo lane without holding it?

#note Should I play NOON 15H? That was my main other consideration. Given the vowel heavy pool, NOO and ONO probably make more sense than NOON, actually. I'm still tempted to play EXON for points, and because row 15 seems OK for me, but meh. Column H seems nice for him, as does ABY, and he can maybe hit an -ON bingo there.

#note So there are two bingos after this: INTROFY, which I saw, and INQUIRY, which I missed. OUTSEEN allows him FLINTIER, OUTLINER, NOTIFIER, FLUORITE, FLUORINE, and QUINTILE, all of which win for him. That's 9 total racks, counting multiplicity, versus 3 so far after NEE (I am, perhaps unfortunately, assuming randomness). But he can also fish, something I didn't consider. QI and any 5-tile subset of INTROFY forms a fine fish at M3. That's 21 racks, then we multiply by 1/6 because he has to draw two specific tiles. He can also fish LI, adding another 21/6. That totals 10 racks so far, which I think pushes NEE to being worse than OUTSEEN. UNSEE is looking good though. It saves QAT and QUOTH, and the only bingos it allows are INTROFY, INQUIRY, and FLUORIN, for 5 racks. Any wins besides the bingos look implausible against it, and he's probably weighted more toward the letters that make bingos to the E possible than bingos after UNSEE. Given this, I currently like UNSEE best here. Another factor: he has 2:12 left here. This might slightly weaken UNSEE compared to NEE, since all he has to do is find a bingo. The fish racks might be more complicated. Also, it's possible that it's optimal for him to do something besides fish for INTROFY with a LI play, and that that works out better for me somehow. My analysis doesn't seem sufficient to establish UNSEE as best, but I'm currently standing with it.

#note Will was thinking of INERTLY here, which makes sense. I probably look like I have E very often, maybe always, with NEE, but it still seems right to go for the EI draw.

#note Champ likes this. Funnily, SUE is only 4 worse, because LINTY sets up FLINTY.
