#note Didn't want to play SERIATED. Saw SEALIFTED here, which looked valid, but I wasn't 100% sure. Kind of liked this better positionally. I block some annoying stuff on the right side. SEALIFTED opens up two nice scoring spots. The top one seems good for me, the bottom one less so, as Peter can use it to open a line. I don't think the STEADIEST hook is too bad, might even be good for me.

#note Darn! Maybe it would've been helpful to do some math here. ERYTHRUM is 73 if it's good, IMPURER 11 assuming optimal response, let's call it 13 to account for mistakes (though I may not have decided on that if I decided to play a non-bingo endgame). ERYTHRUM is -36, call it -35 to adjust for mistakes. Assuming the marginal utility of a spread point (I think I'm using this language correctly) is equal at every point (which it shouldn't be), then I need to have 46/108 confidence in ERYTHRUM to be indifferent between it and IMPURER. Not sure this calculation would have actually helped me make a decision, though. I don't feel like I can translate my thoughts about ERYTHRUM into a probability which I feel comfortable acting on.
