#note I considered urbia and nubia for cool defense, but this is standard and fine, and especially what I like to do against josh

#note TOKEN/RABBIT, K3 KOTO, KOBO, KOLO, F2 KAROO are all worth considering. I played this, sacrificing 2 from KOBO, to keep the R open (and U), although this does let him play from the V without opening many new lanes. Q likes KOTO best, followed by KOBO. I still score almost as well next turn after KOTO, and I'm not so down that I need to go all in on a bingo.

#note the leave is pretty solid, and this blocks the C, which is gonna be annoying to block later on. ZIRAM f2 has some defensive merit, but is still less immediately defensive than ZIRAM (I and C are the most exposed lanes, and solid floaters)
>jackson_smylie: AAENNTX 6L .AX +26 132
#note I should probably just stomach VEXT here, AANN isn't the worst, and AENNT isn't the best
>josh_sokol-rubenstein: AEILMNW I11 M.W +25 211
#note LAWMEN 3B is cool and thematic, EW without the M is not thematic but looks best still, wins the sim by 6, and hits over 2/3 of the time. They might require seeing RABBIN though.

#note TRAWL(E)D is also interesting cause it's hard to block the T, and I still have the E column. I think I need to threaten a really high scoring bingo though, although after TRAWLED there's still enough space open to hit two bingoes

#note I missed FUSEE 2j, I think that's the play. I can win after drawing some bingoes, and though the bag is consonant heavy I still bingo more after fusee than fens. I also missed UNFREES, which doesn't seem as good though, I leave 1 in the bag and will rely on him not being able to do an out in two (which is likely given the clunky pool) and also score tons at 2j or O12, while doing an out in two myself. I think I'd do FUSEE if I had seen all the options
>josh_sokol-rubenstein: EEFGTVY 15G YE +35 420
#note probably FET or FEY here to leave 1 in the bag (josh thought there were 3 in the bag), cause leaving 2 in the bag gives me better fishing options. still a very good position. Champ likes TYE B9 cause that's the most dangerous lane, having stuff like THEISMS
