#note I didn't see YEAH here, which looks standardly better, but seems to be worse. YEAH gives up almost as much in score as HAYEY, I guess cause of the mild defense of the Y in HAYEY (can't do ???E words on the K column), and cause of high scoring hooks for YE after YEAH. Y(E)AH seems like the second best play, giving up less and keeping the more potent leave. I bingo more after HAYEY cause it keeps the board more open. seems better than Y(E)AH.

#note I regretted not playing TAW after - HEME takes hooks that let him score more, and I save the L for YOWL in either case, so it's better for me to be more defensive in that spot.

#note I think this was the rack. I considered V(E)T for awesome defense, but he can still bingo with VET hooks, through the E on the J column, and other marginal lanes on the board. It only lowers his bingo % from 19-15 over VROW, so it's not worth it short term. There is longterm merit with VET, since he really starts restricting the top left space, and if I can follow through with that it'll be game over. I ultimately felt there were enough ways for the board to remain open that it was fine to take VROW immediately, and possibly make a VET-like play later.

#note I think this was the rack. I liked GENT now for the vet reasons of before - it will make it hard for him to come back since I'm closing a lot of space with this play. I can still outrun J column bingoes pretty easily, and it's not like D(OI)T or exchanging are soo much better for outrunning.

>Jackson: ADDHKNS 11I HAD +21 354
#note tough call here. 11i DAK sims a bit better, seems I average more cause I bingo more with DHNS. I liked keeping DKNS for the A12 spot, since there are very few tiles in the pool he can have that hit there - pretty much the G, and even that is just gonna be 15 points. I liked HAD 11I over HAD a12 for that reason, I felt like it secured my outrunning chances to leave that spot open for myself. I considered I3 ADD as well to block bingoes, but he can hit H1 J/Z plays that outrun me too often. The pool isn't very good for bingoes, so I'm not blocking too much.

#note I might wanna do UND(O) here, which I seriously considered. It blocks almost all of his bingoes, and H1 plays that could outscore me also empty the bag, so I have tempo in the endgame. It's by no means a sure win, since I could draw consonants and not have out in twos in the endgame, or he could still fish or bingo immediately. I don't think DOIT really accomplishes much, it just scores better and doesn't give him many chances to outrun without bingoing. I feel like UNDO is a bit more proactive. I'm not at all sure what to do here, He could still outrun with stuff like JIN/QI, which make me want to play 3 tiles. I think UNDO is my favourite play so far

#note I figured he was fishing for a 3 row bingo. He can't have had JANGLES or JINGLES, cause he would have had a bingo. He could have JUNGLES, like he did, and he could be fishing for JANGLIER too - AEGIJLS makes the most sense, but he could have other racks that just hit 1 tile in the pool, from his perspective. I think that's less likely though. If he had AEGIJL, I lose half the time. If he had JUNGLE (I didn't really consider that rack), I also lose half the time. This is assuming KIN outruns, which I assume it does. Other racks he could have will win 3/4 of the time for me, and I'm not sure how often he has each of those. So far I haven't found any blocks that outrun at all consistently, since he can hit J plays on the triple or plays like J?NGLE on the 3/4 row that outrun quite consistently (not always, but give me worse odds than going all in on him not hitting). Let me know if you find anything!
