#note difficult pre-endgame position begins. It might be advisable to exchange down to AEL here. Issues may arise with triplicate I's, but this seems to be a good idea to threaten a lot of stuff and also get tempo in most endgames. J5 AA is an interesting idea otherwise, keeping the Y for later and blocking a few things.

I think WIST is the play. Her racks are not balanced after LAY, so bingos are not really a huge concern. I should be concerned with scoring enough to win the game. I am trying to get points with my Z next turn by drawing an O, an A (an I with WIST, but same chances at that), and with some other specifically good draws. (D)ITZ is also playable here, but it doesn't seem to work so well even if she doesn't make the best play next turn.
