#note I also considered LEVY. I liked VELCRO over LEVY because GY is more flexible than CGR for going out. Unfortunately, if I don't draw the X here I basically don't have a chance. Mark will threaten some AX/AXE type play and I can't score enough to pull it out. Fortunately, I have a 1/3 chance of getting the X, because Mark wouldn't have played BLAZE if he had the X. So I basically have to consider the X already drawn. After LEVY, I pull it out if I draw AX, whereas after VELCRO, an AX draw loses (although Mark would have to find EQUINE). For this reason, I'm inclined to believe that LEVY is better. I got my best possible non-X draw after VELCRO and lost. The other option, which Championship player likes, is trying to fish for GRAVELY - I'm frankly not sure how that's ever going to succeed.
