>Arie: ADENRVW 8D WAVED +32 32
#note VAW is surprisingly close in the sim, but this does look better.
>Max: EEEGISW H7 E.GEWISE +64 64
>Arie: ANPRTTU G7 P.AT +23 55
#note This looks fine - maximizes immediate score; NRTU isn't great but it goes well with the floating vowels.
>Max: AEM 11H .AME +18 82
>Arie: DNPRTTU 12D PUTR.D +21 76
#note I failed to consider PUNDIT in the same spot. Sims about even with PUTRID - RT is a bit better than NT, but not by much, and PUTRID scores one more point.
>Max: IQ 13C QI +26 108
>Arie: AIKLNOT 14B KINO +32 108
#note I thought of playing OINK instead but was dissuaded by the B front hook. KINO makes underlaps a bit easier, but still beats OINK in the sim.
>Max: EJO 9C JOE +25 133
>Arie: ABDLOOT 10B BOO +26 134
#note Looks fine - marginally better leave than BOT.
>Max: ?CEFLRT 14G R.FLECTs +78 211
>Arie: ADLRRRT K11 .RR.D +6 140
#note It's always disappointing when you keep ADLT and draw RRR. Some other plays sim a bit better here - LARD I4 (which keeps a poor leave of RRT but scores a bit more and is more conducive to an open board long-term), AL(E)RT(E)R K9, and LARDER K7. My play sims two points behind LARD. ALRT is a pretty decent leave but this isn't the right board for it.
>Max: GHIM M10 MIGH. +22 233
>Arie: ?AEILRT L4 RATLIkE +68 208
#note A bunch of 68 point bingos are available; little differenece between them.
>Max: AHS 15A HAS +36 269
>Arie: AEISSYY K3 YAY +30 238
#note Max's play of HAS blocked my own play of EASY for 64, leaving me with some uninspiring options. I actually contemplated playing YAY at 11A for only 26 to keep the R and the A open, but I decided that it wasn't worth it for four points.
>Max: DNOUV N7 VODUN +20 289
>Arie: CEISSUX 11E XU +38 276
#note This looks better than SIX 15M - I bingo quite a bit more with CEISS and give myself the option of scoring a few points with MIGHTS in the future.
>Max: AABFNOU O8 FA +33 322
>Arie: CEIOOSS 15M SOC +28 304
#note This looks best - cashes in on MIGHTS, keeps scoring.
>Max: ABILNOU I5 LIN +10 332
>Arie: BEIOOST H1 BOITE +26 330
#note Max's defensive play proved timely, as it blocked a bingo. I now need to figure out how to proceed. It looked to me like the Z might be the key to the game - bingos are unlikely for either of us and I can practically assure myself of a 30ish scoring play with the Z if I draw it, which could go a long way on a closed board with an otherwise weak pool scoring-wise. BOITE almost evens the score and gives me 5 shots at drawing the Z. I could play something like BOO and give myself better tiles to work with going forward (not likely that I will be bingoing, though a H1-5 play could create some lines) but I felt that I had a more realistic chance with BOITE, and the sim concurs.
>Max: INT 11A NIT +17 349
>Arie: GINORSZ 2F ZO.N +33 363
#note It looks like this play wins with any draw. I got the U, which is the worst thing I could have drawn, and still won with optimal endgame play from both of us.
>Max: AAEEELN 1H .ALEEN +11 360
>Arie: GIRSU 10G ..GU +18 381
#note This and a few other plays win by three.
>Max: AE M6 AE +12 372
>Max: (IRS) +6 378
