#note oh my. I completely missed OESTRIOL! Bad Josh. Bad Josh! #findinglarge
>Ken: AIIORSW J5 IWIS +27 57
>Sokol: EIOORRS I4 ROO +10 26
#note what else? hoping to induce a play down column H to get a bingo next turn, though I felt a sense of regret when I realized he could just play to the R. Saving grace is that it might not be all too likely he can do that and hit the double, and that still might give back a lane for a 7. #questionable
>Ken: AEENORX 9F AX +40 97
>Sokol: AEILORS D8 .ORESAIL +74 100
>Ken: EEFNORT 12D .OFTENER +62 159
#note he almost talked himself into RESOFTEN, which I would have had a hard time not challenging!
>Sokol: ?DEEQRV 14B Qu.VERED +94 194
#note though this might be one of the racks among maybe 5% of the time that I decide not to challenge with, since having this blocked leaves me with no good options.
>Ken: GIJMNNZ 11A MIZ.N +36 195
>Sokol: ?ACDGLP 5E PLAC..D +48 242
#note nice
>Ken: AGIJNTY 15H TAJ +39 234
#note Quackle likes 15H TANGY for 48. Scores more points and turns over two additional tiles which can help draw an S or ? for SOFTENERS.
>Sokol: ?EGHORU 10A UH +30 272
>Ken: AGIKLNY A6 KALI.. +36 270
>Sokol: ?EGNORS L6 cONGERS +90 362
#note #questionable but I felt this defensive placement allowed me the best chances at holding my lead.
>Ken: DGIINWY 10K D.WY +19 289
>Sokol: AEGHPSU 4C AGUE +16 378
#note Not thrilled with getting rid of my vowels, but he doesn't have too many of them himself. I also have SH on my rack, so that helps
>Ken: ABGIINV B4 VIA +25 314
>Sokol: AHOPSTU 3C HAP +36 414
#note could also do PAH for one point less to further restrict overrlaps. I retain the only two letters in the pool that can overlap PA. Furthermore, he can set up D(RAG) or B(RAG) after either play with R(AG) for 4, but I can draw an E to block with TE(PA) after PAH and it is much trickier to block after HAP. B(ROO) is the lurking threat here, he could just bingo there at any time, but making another spot with R(AG) might just be his key to victory in some lines. #tacticssmall
>Ken: BEGINTY K10 .E.BY +26 340
#note I could have played 3I BEIGY for 37. I thought that GROO was good (it's not) and wanted to keep that line open for a bingo next turn
>Sokol: NORSTUU 3G TABOURS +85 499
#note ROBUSTA or RUBATOS seem to favour me more in the endgame. #tacticssmall
