>Mina: ?BEIOTU 9I OUTBItE +66 66
>Mina: ?BEIOTU -- -66 0
#note I spent many minutes thinking there MUST be something here, finally settling on what I considered the most plausible phony. This combination of rack and position is really tough for me. My instinct is to dump the U, but IO turns out to sim three points higher than OU, presumably because it's more defensive.
>Jason_Broersma: ATX F7 TAX +20 38
>Mina: ?BEIOTU 10C OUBIT +22 22
#note I figure I can use the juicy W hook later.
>Jason_Broersma: AENORRT 11G ORNATER +66 104
>Mina: ?EJOOUU 9C JO +36 58
#note Wow this is a surprise: Quackle prefers burning the blank on 10J JUdO. Sims four points above my play. I thought I had learned in the book Everything Scrabble that the blank was "worth" 25 points, so if you consider that JUdO scores 56 and JO scores 36, burning the blank here doesn't make tooooo much sense, but I guess it's because the leave handicaps you so badly otherwise.
>Jason_Broersma: AAKPR E3 PARKA +24 128
#note Oof, the same five letters scored 47 at position 11A!
>Mina: ?EGOQUU L9 QU.UE +28 86
#note Ouch, I missed H11 (R)OQUE for 45! I was just so focused on making my leave as bingo-friendly as possible by dumping both U's. Ughhh.
>Jason_Broersma: AGISY J4 YAGIS +24 152
>Mina: ?BEEGHO K3 BOH +31 117
#note Oops, BEGO in the same spot sims five points better. (Top-simming is 4A BEEG(A)H but I didn't know it; nor do I agree that burning both E's would have been wise.)
>Jason_Broersma: DHOT 14L DOTH +32 184
>Mina: ?DEEEGN 4A tEEN.GED +72 189
#note I immediately saw GrEENED at 12A but didn't think TOD was good. After a very long hard search, I found the only bingo that didn't require the (TO)D hook.
>Jason_Broersma: EFISW B10 WIFES +57 241
#note Ugh, he drew the W I wanted for my WOUBIT hook.
>Mina: GILLNRY 12B .LYING +30 219
#note My find is reasonable, simming right up there behind Y(E)LLING and (F)RILLY. I agree (F)RILLY is best and I can see why: because it keeps GN to go with one of the five unseen I's.
>Jason_Broersma: AFIIRS O8 FAIRIS. +42 283
>Jason_Broersma: ALNT (challenge) +5 288
>Mina: ADILNRV L4 DIV +34 253
#note The top-simming play is a super cute find, 13G ANVIL(E)D. I doubt most mortals would see that. Next best is L2 VINAL for 38.
>Jason_Broersma: ALNT 13I LAT.N +16 304
>Mina: AAILNNR 14I AN +10 263
#note Oops. Quackle recommends H1 LAN(D) for 15 and indeed I should have played that. What on earth was I thinking?!!
>Jason_Broersma: ?EMOPTU 15D cOMPUTE +86 390
#note (Wow, N2 UpTEMPO.) Nail in the coffin.
>Mina: AEIILNR N2 AIRLINE +73 336
#note I eyed the T sadly because if it were only one row lower, I'd have a triple-triple INERTIAL. Alas.
