#player2 Edwin Edwin
>Arie: ?CEINRT 8D CItTERN +72 72
#note Many available bingos - hard to tell which is best. This one at least puts no vowels next to bonus squares. Only NERITIC and CERTAIN are unhookable.
>Edwin: ANOPRST K2 PARTONS +77 77
>Arie: ?ELMRSV 3F REMoV.LS +76 148
#note Best scoring bingo.
>Edwin: IJ J6 JI. +53 130
>Arie: DEGGRRT E6 TR.GGED +20 168
#note GRoG I1 looks insane but it's the sim winner. I don't really think it's the right play. I didn't consider RIGGED instead, which retains the T hook for me and keeps RT, which I guess is probably a tiny bit better than the lone R.
>Edwin: BEELZ D11 BEZEL +44 174
>Arie: ADEORSS 4A SARODES +72 240
#note This is fine. The S in the 3x3 is unhelpful, but the openings created by SARODES 2C for the same score are worse.
>Edwin: HOWY A4 .HOWY +42 216
>Arie: AAABGIT 15C A.BATA +24 264
#note I thought this was a pretty decent play, but GALABIA scores 30, leaving a lone T. AIRBAG C2 and LABIA 15D (I eschewed LABIA) also sim better than this.
>Edwin: EFM 14F FEM +35 251
>Arie: AAGIINU 2A IGUANA +23 287
#note best.
>Edwin: CEFY 1F FYCE +43 294
>Arie: IIKOOOW B6 WOO +37 324
#note Best, although the leave is worrisome.
>Edwin: ADHN 1A HAND +55 349
>Arie: IIIIIKO -IIIIIKO +0 324
#note I thought I had no other option, but I might actually want to hand onto the K here - helps for scoring and the pool is very vowel heavy - more so after I add six additional vowels to it. This isn't wrong; the two exchanges sim about the same.
>Edwin: EILNNTU 13B LE. +24 373
>Arie: ENOPTUV L1 VO.E +30 354
#note This is surely best - scores as well as I can, and NPTU isn't bad drawing into a vowel heavy pool.
>Edwin: IIINOTU -3 +0 373
>Arie: IILNPTU 14A LIT. +15 369
#note I think I got hung up about blocking QUILT/QUALE type plays here - probably Ed's most dangerous scoring threat. This probably isn't best. Sims aren't very helpful but one play that stands out is PSI M2 for 15 - blocks plays from the V and keeps a somewhat workable set of five tiles going into the endgame. I also might consider VULN 1L. The U isn't a bad tile with the Q unseen, although there are two more to come.
>Edwin: ETX 1L .EXT +42 415
>Arie: ADINNPU N1 .U +18 387
#note So PODIA 2K 40 is available and I missed it - it's clearly better than any other play. This doesn't make the static evaluator's list but comes up second to PODIA when I sim - I get NONPAID 13G when I draw an O, and even if I get something else, I make Ed's life very difficult - the only potential good scoring Q play left is ROQUE 13G, which requires some specific tiles. He will probably have very bad racks and I can quietly slowly end the game and come out on top.
>Edwin: IIKR H7 R.IKI +9 424
>Arie: ADEINNP 11G P.NED +16 403
#note This isn't great - if Ed plays GOOK 10E and I go out I only win by 5. I can slow play (starting with ID I10 to block QI) and eventually win by 22.
>Edwin: IIOOQUU 13H OI +8 432
>Arie: AIN 10H .INA +19 422
#note No point trying to play out slowly anymore. Probably 8/13 plays optimal this game.
>Arie: (IOQUU) +28 450
