>Jason: EFIINT 8D FINITE +26 26
>Will: BEEGIIN 7E GIBE +24 24
#note Quackle prefers 7G GIBE for two more points to my GIBE pretty strongly; I would've thought 7E GIBE does a little better on defense relative to 7G than simulation indicates but I suppose it's still quite easy to get a seven down on rows 6 and 9. There's also 7E BEGIN available for maximum defense; that looks pretty good too. #tacticssmall
>Jason: AQRU I4 QUAR. +24 50
>Will: EINOTUV E4 OUT..VEN +48 72
>Jason: EPU 4I .UEP +30 80
>Will: ?IILVWX 6H W.X +35 107
#note 5K XI and VEXIL at either 10D or K3 are also good options; for the record, WAX bingos about 16% more than VAX. Quackle evaluates all of these plays nearly evenly but ultimately calls for XI and indicates that the ILVW? leave matures into a bingo a surprising amount of time - over 20%. My play is perhaps the most polarizing - the bingo% is the highest of all the candidate moves, but drawing another I creates some ugly followup turns. Despite WAX's huge bingo% advantage over both VEXIL placements, WAX and both VEXILs give me nearly equivalent average scores on my next turn. Quackle slightly prefers 10D VEXIL to K3 VEXIL because of the greater likelihood of Jason playing down the H column and generating a bunch of floaters when I play it at 10D. As far as Jason's last couple of plays helping me decide which way to go, QUEP might yield a clue or two (no O, probably no I, maybe another E) but nothing really actionable.
>Jason: FMOR 5K FORM +32 112
>Will: ?AIIJLV D1 JAIL +42 149
#note I considered 3L AJI here to block the huge lane but it's just not a good enough block to bridge the big equity gap; plays hooking FORME still go down pretty easily.
>Jason: ACDEERS O1 CREASED +93 205
>Will: ?IKNPVY D10 PINKY +34 183
>Jason: AEE 13C A.EE +16 221
>Will: ?AAORTV 2H VARAcTO. +74 257
#note Definitely the best bingo, scoring the most and taking away a ton of possible high scoring row 1 J plays.
>Jason: AEHILST 12F HALITES +77 298
>Will: ADEIIOY N5 .YOID +35 292
#note The AEI leave here is much better than usual given the C/V ratio of the unseen tiles (21 to 9).
>Jason: NNS 5D S.NN +16 314
>Will: ABEGILW 1A WIL.A +45 337
#note I played WILJA extremely fast, thinking it had to be right - but 11I BEWIG scores 40 and leaves AL, which is far more flexible than BEG for bingoing next turn. Didn't generate it as a choice. #findingmedium
>Jason: ?DELNOT O9 ENTrOLD +74 388
>Will: BEGHOTU 11I GUB +25 362
#note Pleased with this move, which sims comfortably best. There are lots of options for words to play paralleling HALITES on row 11; GUB gets me easily the highest bingo% of any of them, though of course in this case those numbers aren't as meaningful because Jason is going to block more than simulation expects. The other nice thing about GUB is that it preserves a chance for a sneaky ZHO/BEZ draw that scores a boatload of points, which could lead to some winnable endgames for me; GUB is the only row 11 paralleling play that threatens that followup.
>Jason: ADR H12 .ARD +15 403
>Will: EHMOOTZ 13K ZHOM. +57 419
#note I calculated that ZHOMO would win by 1 here, and it does; but there could have been a scoring error, and there's far a better option here of 14F HERTZ for 62, following up with 10J MOO. #endgamelarge
>Jason: CEGIORS B10 COIRS +35 438
>Will: EOT 14F TO.E +14 433
#note -10 to Jason for time as he also knew COIRS would lead to a loss and was looking for something better
