#player2 Carl Carl
>Mike: ADEHJ 8D JEHAD +48 48
>Carl: ALNOOOU 9D ONO +19 19
#note JOUAL D8 is best (-5). 7F placement of ONO is superior to mine because it does not give back as much.
>Mike: ADW 10F WAD +32 80
>Carl: AALOTUX D8 ..UAL +24 43
#note Sim-winner here is TAXOL 11B. (-5)
>Mike: EEIMS H10 .EMISE +36 116
>Carl: ?AEOTTX G12 OX +38 81
>Mike: BIO E11 BIO +20 136
>Carl: ?AELTTT H1 TwATTLE. +77 158
>Mike: EENNOPR 15A NEOPREN. +89 225
>Carl: DIMRUVV 3G V.V +17 175
>Mike: ADGIITT B8 DIGITAT. +78 303
>Carl: ADIMNRU A4 MUDRA +42 217
>Mike: EGR E5 GRE.. +12 315
>Carl: EFIIKNS I7 FINE +46 263
#note There are a lot of scoring options here! There's KEF 7G, FES 14F, and lots of plays down column I. My play sims best, but close behind is FIN I7, sacrificing 9 points to keep the E. I thought about FIN, but decided that the WADE hook wasn't much of a threat since all the Ds were gone and the R opened up a bingo lane on column K.
>Mike: CL 13A L.C +10 325
>Carl: EHIKNQS 11A Q. +11 274
#note I was excited about all the different bingos I could draw to EHINKS on this board. Fishing the Q hits about 30% of the time.
>Mike: CEOPRST 1B PROTEC.S +63 388
#note Ouch!
>Carl: EHIKNRS 5H .HINKERS +80 354
>Mike: BORW O1 BROW. +42 430
>Carl: AFIILNY 6J FAIL +38 392
#note A tough choice. FAIL/FAIN might not be enough to catch up, even if I draw optimally. SALINIFY is phony, but maybe I could get away with it. (Mike said after the game that he would have challenged.) Sim winner here is SALIFY, emptying the bag and hoping to draw a bingo. I'm skeptical that that's any better than my play, but maybe it's right.
