#note this is a tough position, and lots of options are close. it is a question of what is optimal and also of how I should adjust from that optimality, mainly with regards to making the position more complicated. I felt like this did both of this quite well, VIA seems optimal or close to it, just based on defense and keeping a leave that works well with the K column. DI(V)A might be better on this front though, it looks really close. I didn't want to do stuff like AID 4K cause it leaves easy overlaps and hooks, I felt like the position after VIA was much tougher. A sim has VIA and DIVA at the top, flipflopping.

#note yeah I hated this play and can't believe I made it! PSOAI/SIGANIDS is the star play and wins like 100.5% of the time. even stuff like SOAP L12 is way better than what I played. ASPIC 4K. I think I was influenced into fishing by the nature of the whole set, and also was very wary of making potentially dangerous openings, but that resulted in making a terrible play. this is truly terrible!

#note DOO(DO)O is pretty funny, but it's good to block the spot partially. could do (DO)ODOO to make an S hook, maybe. this lowers his avg by a lot though, I'm happy with it

#note being cute here, but also idk. I hate leaving this big spot open and exchanging, but I also hate making a play like this and keeping the Q since it mucks up the plan so much, but I also hate spending my case S. I probably just have to bite the bullet and play DONNIS(H) or HINDS or QIS/SIGANIDS, I can figure out a way to win. This is more of a longterm plan, but he can block pretty easily and my Q is going nowhere here. I think this is bad

#note OZONE is a play I didn't consider! It is also nice cause it creates another lane in case I need two bingoes to win. I think I'd play that had I considered it!

#note going for an L draw for ARCANELY and hoping he blocks this lane I'm opening instead. I wish there was a way to open a lane that didn't let him score decently, cause a lot of his blocks with BOY will outrun easily anyways. this is the only play I could find that had any path to victory
