#note Dells Spells Southern Edition (WGPO) 2019 Game 10 vs. Thomas Reinke.
>Bill: ?EFIOTT D8 .OnFETTI +76 76
#note Best, spent awhile on the play because I didn't want to go into the triple lane, but I'd have to sacrifice 11 points to avoid it which is clearly too much.

#note Didn't see SPHINX through this I for 40. That should be worth it, especially since with 7 A's out I've got a very good chance of being able to play QAT next turn.

#note I don't know why I didn't play this at 2M for 3 more. I saw it and there's no good reason not to do it.

>Thomas: AGM M13 MAG +23 350
>Bill: AACHRUU N13 UH +29 363
#note Dang, I thought I was probably missing some nice CSW word. AHURU at 2K for 31. I really should be seeing that. UH is obviously dangerous not holding the S, but since I didn't see AHURU or the other nice play of AUTARCH, I figured I needed to take the points here - also, I did think there was some inference that he doesn't have the S, since MAG interferes with ROSINERS... but then, I'm only giving myself two chances to draw it. I didn't look for something like K9 UNAU, but that also has some merit, putting us both at 350 and deferring the initiative to Thomas while keeping a nice leave (QUAI is similar, though I wouldn't want to keep a U with a fish with one still unseen). Between UNAU and UH, I still think I'm more comfortable rolling the dice with UH. AHURU is probably still best if I see it, even though it gives up huge scores sometimes (like MAY or MOY scores 47, for example). A 4-ply sim has AHURU-UNAU-QUAI-AUTARCH-UH in 1-5. One of the most complex decisions of the tournament, which I didn't get a chance to properly consider since I missed three of the candidate plays.

#note I did see QUAI this time which is rated best statically, but it seemed that, although the M would help the leave in a vacuum, probably not if I have to play through a T. M6 AMU and M7 MAAR are winning the sim. Definitely should've gone with AMU to keep the S hook open if I draw it. MAAR does the same and scores a bit more, and although it keeps the U instead of A, there are three more A's to draw. Either of those is a big improvement on NAMU. Bad form to not realize the necessity of keeping that lane open, even if I don't have the S yet.

#note Whoops, I thought this was good but it's just ROYNE, which is the correct play (also RAYNE). Threw away quite a bit of spread in relation to Thomas with this, which could have but did not end up mattering.
>Thomas: APSV N6 VA.PS +32 480
#note Nice out, I was thinking he was just gonna play PAVS somewhere.
